Keira's POV:
Once everyone is downstairs in the chill room, Rach and Millie stand up in front of everyone and announce that we're doing a team quiz. We're all split into teams of five. My team consists of me, Alessia, Katie, Beth Mead and Lotte. Lucy was in a team with Tooney, Ellen, Niamh, and Lauren and they also had Elleã and Charlie. Millie and Rach weren't in a team as they were the hosts. We started off there quiz with a round of general knowledge, which Lucy's team won and Lucy was delighted. The next round was a geography round which my team won, to which Leah shouted out "only cause Kei would've been a geography teacher if she wasn't a footballer". The next round was everyone's speciality of football. We all had to guess past lioness legends based on 3 clues. Leah's team won that round, although some people weren't very sure that they won so people started calling out their opinions. During the quiz, Ellen came over to me asking for Ellie's blanket and bottle, I handed her the blanket and told her I'd go heat up the bottle and I'd bring it over to them. I told my team what I was doing and headed into the kitchen, there was only a few kitchen staff left, so I asked could I heat up the bottle and they were very accommodating. When I returned with the bottle I went over to Lucy's table and handed her the bottle. I looked down at the tired looking toddler and gave her a kiss goodnight and whispered "goodnight baby girl, mama loves you so much". I returned to my table and got back into the quiz. As I was sat at my table, Charlie came walking over to me and stood beside my chair. "Can I sit with you ?", she asked me quietly, looking down at the floor, "course you can, let me grab a chair for you" I replied quickly. "Uhh.. can I just sit... uhh... on your lap .... instead?", she said hesitantly, instead of replying I turned her around and sat her down on my lap. I wrapped my arms round her waist as she leaned into me. "You know if there's anything bothering you can tell me or mum ?, you know that right ?", I whispered to her. She nodded her head and wrapped her arms round my neck in response. The game continued until eventually my team won by one point.
After the quiz had ended we all agreed it was time to go to bed because we had a busy day the next day. I went to get up before Lessi pointed out to me that Charlie had fallen asleep, so I turned her around and she wrapped herself around me like a koala and I stood up with her in my arms.
When we were walking back up to the room, I was quietly chatting to Katie who was sharing with Niamh, when I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I looked to my left and saw Lucy walking beside me with a very cute sleeping toddler, snuggled under a blanket in her arms. I smiled over to her and she smiled softly back. Myself and Katie continued our conversation until we reached her room and we said our good nights. Me, Luce, G and Le continued down the hallway to our rooms. Leah helped unlock our door for us because we had our hands full slightly. Once inside our room I walked through the connecting door and into the girls room and slowly and gently lay Charlie down under the covers in her bed. She snuggled under the duvet and rolled over still fast asleep. Lucy walked in behind me and placed Ellie in her bed and gave her a goodnight kiss gently on the top of her head. We both said goodnight to Charlie before leaving the room, closing the door over gently.
We both got ready for bed and when we were both lying in bed I turned to Lucy and spoke up "have you noticed Charlie ?", "yeah I have but I thought she might just be tired but that doesn't seem to be the case" Luce replied turning over to look at me. "I told her earlier when she came over to me during the quiz, that if anything was bothering her she could tell you or me, she heard me but she didn't say anything", I told her. Lucy scooted closer to me before wrapping her arm around my waist and pulling me closer to her. I lay my head on her chest, listening to her heartbeat as she replied "she'll tell us when she's ready". I just hummed in agreement. I felt a kiss to my forehead before Lucy whispered "Goodnight Kei, I love you", "I love you to Luce, goodnight" I reply before closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep listening to Lucy's heartbeat.
