Keira's POV:
Yesterday, we had training and a gym session. We're all feeling confident for the match tomorrow. Today is Fran's birthday and match day -1. We do some light training and, we had a bit of a laugh towards the end like a game of 5v5. Even Charlie joined in.
We all headed for lunch. Lucy was talking to Sarina, so I took hold of Ellie's hand and Charlie walked beside us. I grabbed a tray and had a chicken and tomato sandwich, while Charlie got a ham and cheese toastie. Elleã wanted what Charlie had, but I know she doesn't like cheese, so I just got her a ham toastie. I grabbed a smoothie and Charlie grabbed her and Elleã a bottle of orange juice. I walked over to a table where Leah was already sat, Charlie followed holding Ellie's hand.
During lunch I looked around for Lucy but didn't see her. I figured she must be still talking to Sarina, so continued eating my lunch. At the end of lunch, most of the team headed to their rooms for a while, so I took Charlie and Ellie back to our room and let them play trampoline on the beds to kill some time. After a little while the door to the room opened and Lucy walked in, the girls both ran over to her after not seeing her for a while, I looked over at her from my spot on the bed leaning against the headboard. She walked over to me and collapsed on the bed beside me. Charlie immediately lay down on top of her and Elleã came over to my side and I lifted her onto the bed and she lay her head into the crook of Lucy's neck. I looked over at the 3 of them, looking all cute beside me. Lucy then opened her eyes and looked over at me and said "how was lunch ?", before I could reply Charlie answered with "it was good, I had a ham and cheese toastie, Ellie had a ham toastie and Kei had a chicken and tomato sandwich and we sat with Leah and G and Meado and Tooney and Lessi, and Lessi somehow flung her fork across the room", she said while laughing. Lucy then picked Elleã up and sat up on the bed like me, leaning against the headboard and laughed with Charlie. We sat there for a while catching up and laughing, I turned to Lucy and said "what do you wanna do for the evening ?", she looked at me and then turned to look at Elleã and Charlie and said "well I was talking to one of the physios and they told me about a playground nearby, we could go there ?", at the mention of the playground Elleã popped her head up and enthusiastically nodded her head up and down, as an answer to Lucy's question. I giggled and picked her up and said "well you need shoes then", I put her down and she ran to get her shoes and came back over to me, to put them on for her. Lucy and Charlie got ready while I helped Elleã put her shoes on and after 10 minutes we were all ready to go. As we headed out the door, Elleã ran over to Leah and Georgia's room and stood looking over at me. "Do you want Le and G to come ?", she nodded her head, so I walked over and knocked on the door. G opened it up and Elleã wrapped her arms around her leg. G looked down at her and then looked back at me. "Ellie, you have to ask G and Le", at the mention of her name, Leah came around the corner and looked over at us. "Come play ?", Elleã asked looking up at G and Leah. They both agreed and G picked Elleã up and walked out the door tickling her. Leah turned to me and asked "where are we going ?", "one of the physios told Luce about a playground nearby", I replied as we both walked together following the other 4. "Ooh I love a playground", Leah replied chuckling. I laughed with her and we continued walking. As soon as Elleã, Charlie and G could see the playground they bolted. Me, Luce and Leah caught up just as they were running over to the swings. Elleã ran back over to us and pulled Leah's hand to help her down the slide. Me and Luce sat down on a bench in the playground and watched the girls play with G and Leah. Then Lucy turned to me and started talking "I'm not gonna play in tomorrow's game", I looked over at her and instantly said "is everything ok ?", "I'm fine, after training I was talking to Sarina and she told me that there was someone who was looking for Charlie earlier and the receptionist told them she wasn't available, so the person said not to worry, that they'd see her tomorrow at the game", I then started asking her loads of questions "who was it ? How did they know where she was ? What's gonna happen ?", "breathe Kei, that's why I'm not gonna play tomorrows game, I'm going to sit with the girls during the game, I'll try find out who it is then" Lucy said while rubbing her thumb over our intertwined hands. I was kinda glad Lucy would be sitting out of the game tomorrow because if she was playing the girls would have to sit with one of the staff members. I leaned against Lucy as we both looked over at the girls all playing when Ellie ran over to us and climbed onto my lap and turned to look at us and said "tired". We both chuckled and Lucy said "we'll go back soon", Ellie just nodded and then leaned against my chest and babbled to us about her and Leah playing tag with G and Charlie. It was a bit hard to follow the conversation because she didn't know all the words but we both grasped the story in the end. G, Charlie and Leah came over breathing heavily. We chatted and then decided to head back to the hotel as it was nearly dinner time.
We all had dinner, with lots of laughing and chatting, and a cake was brought out for Fran's birthday too. Ellie started to get a bit restless so Luce rushed off to make her a bottle before the tears spilled. I rocked her in my arms and whispered "mumma is making you a bottle right now" to her trying to keep her from bursting into tears. Thankfully just before she did Lucy came back into the room and jogged over to me with the bottle. I immediately handed it to Ellie who latched onto it instantly and luckily no tears were spilled. I headed to bed early that night with Ellie in my arms still drinking from the bottle, as I was quite tired. Not long after I got settled in bed with Ellie in my arms, the door opened and Charlie slowly trudged in with Lucy closing the door softly behind. When she walked in and saw I was awake she came over and Charlie got ready for bed in the bathroom and then Lucy did the same. Charlie came over and gave me a hug and said goodnight and gave Ellie a soft kiss to the top of her head, and then jumped under the covers and Lucy went over to say goodnight. Lucy got into bed beside me and turned off the main light, leaving the bedside light on beside her. She leaned over and took the now empty bottle from Ellie who was slowly falling asleep. She then carefully took Ellie, and I lay down looking at her place Ellie between us. She then leaned over and hovered above my face and whispered "goodnight kei, I love you" and then leaned down and gave me a gentle kiss. She then lay down and I whispered back "night Luce, love you too".
