Keira's POV:
I woke up this morning, not feeling great. I had a bit of a headache, so I slipped out of bed careful not to wake Lucy up and went into the bathroom to get some painkillers. I then headed back to bed and cuddled up to Lucy.
I woke up again to the alarm going off at 8am and rolled over in an attempt to ignore it. I heard a chuckling beside me and rolled over again to see Lucy sat up in bed beside me, chuckling at me. I just shuffled closer to her and put my head in her lap and groaned. I felt Lucy's fingers comb through my hair, which was so relaxing and I almost fell asleep again, till I heard a door creak open. I opened my eyes to see Charlie quietly walk in, opening the door wider to let Ellie stumble in behind her, dragging her blanket behind her. Once Charlie spotted that I was awake too, her and Ellie quickly came over to the bed. Charlie climbed up and cuddled in between my stomach and Lucy's legs and Lucy leaned down to pick Ellie up, who cuddled into the other side of Lucy. It was a cute family moment.
We quickly got dressed and ready for the day, but my head was killing me and Lucy had noticed as she kept checking in on me, "You okay Kei ?". "Yeah", I replied back, even though I wasn't fine, but I didn't want Lucy to worry because she had so much to worry about with the visit coming up and then the Euros too.
We got down to breakfast and by this stage my head was pounding, even though I'd taken a painkiller again. I turned to Lucy as we entered the dining room and said, "can you get me some breakfast ?", she instantly nodded, delighted I'd asked her for a tiny bit of help, and so she led me to an empty table and let me sit down, while she went off to get me breakfast with Ellie walking beside her. Charlie came over quickly and sat down beside me. I noticed she had a very large bowl of Coco pops in front of her and smiled, "making up for yesterdays lack of Coco Pops, are you Charlie ?", she nodded her head smiling, before tucking into her breakfast. Lucy then came over with a plate of sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs, and put it down in front of me. She then sat on the other side of Charlie with Ellie on her lap. Ellie began to eat her breakfast which consisted of a lot of strawberries and grapes. "Mama, look awberry !!", she squealed showing me the strawberry in her hand, before shoving it in her mouth. I smiled over at her before slowly continuing to eat my breakfast.
Once we were finished with breakfast we had 15 minutes before we had to leave to go to Nike, where we would be spending the day. I knew I wouldn't last very long through the day so I turned to Lucy and quietly said "I'm not feeling great Luce, I think I'm gonna sit this one out". She immediately pulled me into her chest and combed her fingers through my hair and quietly said "aww babe, I'm sorry you're not feeling great, don't worry about the event, you go up to the room and I'll sort it out with Sarina, you just go rest", before kissing my hair and letting me go. I nodded and stood up and then extended my hand out to her, she took it and stood up. Ellie got up off her spot on the floor and held Lucy's other hand. As we were leaving Charlie caught up with us and cuddled into Lucy, stopping us from walking any further. "What's wrong Charlie ?", Lucy gently asked. "I'm really tired", Charlie mumbled back. Lucy looked over at me and then said "well Kei is staying here as well, you could stay with her instead of going, if you want to", Charlie turned her head and looked at me before slowly nodding, detaching herself from Lucy and coming over to take my hand. I looked at my watch and told Lucy, "you better get going, don't worry about us, we'll be ok, I'll text you later". Lucy nodded and lifted Ellie up into her arms and me and Charlie said goodbye to them both before heading upstairs.
Lucy's POV:
Once me and Ellie made it downstairs I spotted Sarina and explained to her that Keira and Charlie wouldn't be joining us because they didn't feel well. Sarina understood and told me that it was okay. I then walked out to the bus, with Ellie in my arms, babbling to me about something.
When we arrived at the Nike store, we were shown everything they had and what we would be doing today. We walked through to where we could see our pictures and create our own design. I started adding words to my picture before Ellie had leaned down and picked up a picture of Keira and shoved it on top of my picture, grinning up at me. Everyone around us who had watched the interaction laughed, and G leaned over and cheered, which caused Ellie to clap her hands, thinking she had done something amazing. I just laughed and let her add stickers to Keira's picture. At the end, they took our designs up on a notice board for us to look at each others. We then headed to an area where people could make charm bracelets. I let Ellie down here, but made sure to keep an eye on her because I knew from the past she'd try to swallow a bead. While I was making a bracelet for Keira, I saw Ellie run over to me with the something in her hand. I crouched down and she opened her hand to show me a little dog charm, "mumma, look Narly", she exclaimed, shoving the charm into my hand. I grinned and showed her as I added the charm to the bracelet. She jumped up and down, giggling, delighted that she had found the charm that looked like Narla. While I made a few more bracelets for me, Charlie and Ellie, to match Kei's, Leah entertained Ellie beside me.
We then were showed to an open floor, where music was playing. We were invited to dance, but Ellie had started to get cranky, and I knew she needed a nap, so I sat the dancing out, but watched as the others danced, while Ellie slept soundly in my arms.
After the dance lesson, we were shown to an area that was set up to take photos and there was a football table and food and drinks. I walked over to the food and grabbed a sausage roll, I went down to sit next to Leah with Ellie in my lap. I chatted quietly to Leah while Ellie slept soundly in my arms.
It was soon time to head back to SGP, and we all thanked everyone at Nike, for everything they had done for us. I sat near the front of the bus with Meado beside me. We chatted for a bit and then Beth turned to me and said "a while ago Charlie told me about what was happening with the lawyers and stuff, and I figured you should know that I know. I just want you and Keira to know I'm here whenever you guys need me", I was shocked Charlie had said anything to Beth, since we don't see Beth a lot with her living in London and us in Manchester, but I was glad she chose Beth, because although everyone says Beth can't keep her mouth shut about anything, I know I can trust her not to say anything to anyone. "Thanks for telling me Beth, I'm glad Charlie told you, she really trusts you", I told Beth. She hummed in agreement and then we went back to casually chatting about the upcoming tournament.
When we arrived back at SGP, I walked through reception and headed upstairs to our room. I quietly opened the door, in case Keira and Charlie were still asleep, but I was met with the tv on, playing a movie and Keira and Charlie cuddled up in bed. I slowly walked in and Keira immediately turned the tv volume down as she noticed Ellie fast asleep in my arms. Keira reached out to take her and I carefully passed her over. I then went round to the other side of the bed, taking my shoes off in the process and getting into the bed beside Charlie who hugged me when I got in.
As we were sat in bed, my phone started ringing, so to avoid waking Ellie up I quickly picked it up and headed into the bathroom to take the phone call. "Hello, is this Lucy ?", a voice answered, "yes", I replied. "Hello Lucy, this is Louise, I'm calling you in regards to the granted supervised visit between Charlotte and Mr & Mrs Lowry", Louise said. "Ok", I replied, not ready for this conversation. "I'm letting you know that the finalised date is the 4th of July and the location is Stapenhill Gardens in Burton-upon-Trent at 2:30pm", Louise tells me. "Ok", is all I can say, Louise speaks again asking me "who will be accompanying Charlotte ?", I reply saying "me, my partner Keira and Charlotte's little sister". Louise takes a second before replying, "I'm not sure if it's appropriate to have that many people come too", I reply back immediately, "Charlotte, asked if my partner and I would both be there, and our younger daughter can't be left alone, so she has to come with us". Louise replies back with a short "ok, we will see you all then, goodbye", I reply back "goodbye", and hang up the phone. I sigh and lean against the bathroom counter taking a minute before I go back into the room, to tell Keira and Charlie the news.
