Keira's POV
As we arrived home, Elleã had fallen asleep, while Charlie was chatting quietly to myself and Luce. Lucy parked the car and we all got out the car. I went to unlock the front door for Charlie while Lucy gently lifted Elleã into her arms, grabbing the blanket and teddy too. I held the door open for her and watched as she headed up the stairs and into Elleã's room. I quickly closed the car door and then shut the front door quietly. I headed into the kitchen and saw Charlie dancing with Narla. I smiled at the sight until Charlie spotted me and raced over to me. I picked her up as she hugged me tightly and asked "can I call you mam ?". I looked at her with a huge smile on my face and replied "you can call me whatever you want". Charlie giggled and just hugged me tightly. I felt another set of arms wrapped around her around us both and glanced to see Lucy smiling brightly at us both. "Can we start packing for Barca now ?", Charlie asked, looking between us both. Lucy nodded at Charlie's enthusiasm and replied "as long as you promise to be quiet, Ellie's still asleep, and I personally would like to keep it that way, because we all know what she's like if she wakes up early from her nap". Charlie vigorously nodded her head and replied "I don't want that either, let's go Mum". I let Charlie down and followed Lucy and Charlie up the stairs. Lucy grabbed the suitcases and headed into Charlie's room with her, while I quietly snuck into Elleã's room and started sorting out clothes for her.
I turned my head as I heard the door creak open, seeing Lucy come in with Elleã snuggled in her arms, blanket wrapped around her, and the ear of her teddy in her mouth. "Look who's here ?", Lucy murmured to Elleã, who moved her head a little to spot me, sat on the bed, folding laundry. "Hi baby", I smiled over to her. Elleã smiled a little, before cuddling back into Lucy's arms. "I don't think we're properly awake yet though", Lucy chuckled, while rubbing her hand up and down Elleã's back. "What will we have for dinner ?", I asked Lucy as I continued to fold the laundry pile that was like an ever growing mountain. "Let's ask Charlie what she wants", Lucy proposed. I nodded agreeing, Charlie deserved to have whatever she wanted for dinner tonight after today's events.
Once I had finished folding a pile of Charlie's clothes, I followed Lucy out of the bedroom and laid the pile on Charlie's bed, where I spotted another pile of clothes, pile being a stretchy definition of the sight on her bed. I chuckled spotting the Man City Bronze shirt somewhere in the middle of the pile. I heard Lucy talking to Elleã as they made their way downstairs, Lucy trying to explain all that was going on. I decided to tidy up Charlie's mess a little before leaving the room and making my way down the stairs to see Charlie waiting at the bottom of the stairs for me. "What can I do for you ?", I asked cautiously, not sure what she was doing waiting for me. "Can you make your spaghetti meatballs for dinner tonight ?", Charlie begged me, using the puppy eyes too. I chuckled and wrapped an arm around her shoulder, pulling her into me, and replied "of course I can". Charlie cheered and leaned further into me. "Thanks Mam", before rushing off to find Narla. I smiled widely at the name.
Before I met Lucy, I didn't know if I wanted kids, if I'd be a good mum, but after meeting Lucy, and Charlie, I saw that I loved being a mum, even though Charlie didn't call me Mum. Then when I gave birth to Elleã I had a new perspective of being a mum, a little adorable human who depended on me so much more than Charlie did, and I loved it and still love being both their Mum. But now, I'm experiencing a new experience with both of them calling me Mam, well Mama for Elleã.
I headed into the kitchen where I was met with Lucy holding Elleã's hands as Elleã stood on her feet, as they swayed to Taylor Swift in the background, playing 'All to Well'. I smiled at the cute sight, until Lucy spotted me and said to Elleã "mama is watching Ellie". Elleã looked around to find me before giggling and letting go of Lucy's hands to hide between her legs. "Jealous, that I'm dancing with another girl ?", Lucy smirked at me. I laughed and shook my head as I walked over to them, taking Lucy's hands, placing both on my waist as I wrapped mine around her neck. "I could never be jealous of you dancing with our girls, but I'd love to dance with you", I whispered to Lucy, as I leaned in to press a gentle kiss to her lips before pulling away as I felt a pair of hands wrap around my leg. I looked down to see Elleã reaching her hands up to both of us. I leaned down and picked her up. She leaned against my chest as I leaned back into Lucy's embrace, as Lucy swayed us gently to the rest of the song. Once it was finished I pulled away to press another kiss to Lucy's lips, before announcing "I need to get started on dinner, Charlie wants spaghetti meatballs for dinner". Lucy sighed and replied "oh great, another messy dinner, my favourite". I chuckled as I pushed her towards the fridge and asked "can you do the meat for me ?". Lucy nodded as I got all the other ingredients out, resting Elleã on my hip.
As I was putting the spaghetti on, Charlie came in and asked "can I crush the crackers ?". I nodded and weighed out the crackers, before getting her to put them all in a bag, and taking out the rolling pin for her to bang the crackers to tiny pieces. As she crushed the crackers, I adjusted Elleã in my arms, who happened to be chewing on my shirt at the same time, so now there was a wet patch on my left shoulder. "Do you know where the baby carrier is ?", I asked Lucy who was keeping an eye on Charlie while she mixed the herbs into the meat. Lucy quirked an eyebrow at me, clearly confused as to why I wanted it. "I think she might still fit in it, make it easier for me to hold her", I explained which made Lucy nod, as she stopped mixing the mince, washed her hands and left the kitchen, to go find the baby carrier. I looked to Elleã in my arms and whispered "don't you want to be a big girl and let mama put you down ?". Elleã shook her head, grabbing more of my shirt to put in her mouth, which I was not a fan of and went in search of one of the many dummies we had lying around the house. Finding one in one of my coat pockets, I gave it a quick rinse under the tap, before taking the piece of my shirt out of Elleã's mouth and popping the dummy in instead, just as Lucy came back with the baby carrier. "Found it", she said, holding it up for me. I nodded and grabbed it from her before heading to the stairs, "you can mix in the crackers to the meat, and roll them into meatballs, the pan is ready, so you should be able to cook them". Lucy nodded as I headed upstairs with Elleã in my arms and the baby carrier.
As I lay Elleã down on the changing table, I got a small whimper from her. "It's ok baby, mama is just going to change your nappy and then you'll be back in mamas arms". Elleã whimpered a little but didn't make too much noise as I changed her and then lifted her up slightly to fit the baby carrier under her, before setting her against my chest, adjusting the straps before checking Elleã was ok, before leaving her room and heading back downstairs. As I arrived back in the kitchen, Lucy and Charlie were stood beside each other as they cooked the meatballs. I walked over to them and Lucy glanced down at Elleã and said "she still fits in it". I hummed and nodded as I threaded my fingers through Elleã's hair. Lucy grinned and pressed a kiss to my cheek before replying "Charlie wants me and her to make you dinner, so we're going to finish the dinner while you relax". I quirked my head at the two before I felt Charlie wrap her arms around my waist, resting her head against Elleã's back. "Go pack your suitcase Mam", Charlie muttered. I nodded and replied "right, I'm off, call me when dinners ready". Lucy quickly kissed me before sending me off upstairs.
