"...she will remain in the custody of her mothers, Lucy Bronze and Keira Walsh", Judge Lawrence concluded. I smiled widely as Lucy leaned over to me and pressed her lips against mine, smiling widely too. Charlie hugged me tightly before wrapping an arm around Lucy, and whispered "Mum I want to go home now". Lucy nodded and pressed a kiss to Charlie's head as she pulled away from both of us. I turned to Patrick and shook his hand, thanking him for everything he had done for our family. Lucy did the same before helping me up, and leading me towards the exit, as I held Charlie in my arms. Diane and Joaquim came rushing over to us, hugs were had and smiles remained plastered on everyones faces. We all headed out to the car park, and I let Charlie down as she jumped up and down beside us all. I pulled out my phone and pulled up Alex.
Alex: "hello"
Keira: "hey, you can come back"
Alex: "right we'll be there in about 5, we're not far away"
Keira: "ok, see you in a few"
I ended the call and turned back to Luce who was talking to Diane. "Are they coming ?", Lucy asked me. "Yeah, they'll be here in about 5 or so minutes". Lucy and Diane nodded. I turned to see Charlie swinging arms with her Grandad, chatting away, a big smile on her face. "Mum has had a notion", Luce told me. I turned back to Diane, quirking an eyebrow at her. "I was thinking we'd all come over with ya to Barcelona, surprise the girls, and make it easier for you especially when you're coming back with the both of them", Diane explained. I nodded and replied "I would love the help with the girls, but you needn't come if it's too much of a bother". "Not at all, we'll be delighted, Soph said she might come too", Diane added. Me and Lucy smiled, loving how much are families supported us and wanted to help us, especially with this big move. "I'll send you the details of our flights and you can book yourselves onto it too", Lucy replied just as we saw Alex and Steph approach us with Elleã on Alex's hip. "Mama !", she squealed, kicking her legs and reaching her hands out. The minute they were beside us, I took her from Alex and gave her multiple kisses before letting her down onto the ground, where Charlie gave her a tight hug. "Ellie, I'm staying with you forever and ever", Charlie beamed down at Elleã who just giggled and raced over to Luce. I turned my attention back to Alex and Steph, who both must have heard what Charlie said. "Well, it sounds like good news", Steph said. I nodded and got pulled into a hug by Steph who whispered "congrats". I smiled and saw Elleã run back over to Alex and screech "play !!". Alex jumped a little at the noise level and proceeded to let Elleã hold her hands and stand on her toes, as she babbled to herself. "What are your plans now for the rest of the day ?", Alex asked turning to me as Steph and Luce chatted to Joaquim about City and Diane chatted to Charlie. "Thinking we're gonna start packing for Barcelona, looks like we're booking our flights tonight, leaving on Thursday", I replied. "I can't believe Luce is going to play for them, but when you get back, give me a shout and I'll come spend the day with you and the girls or just the girls, give ya a break", Alex added. "Thanks Alex, I'll definitely be taking you up on that offer", I chuckled, just as Luce turned to me and said "we better start to head". I nodded and we started to say our goodbyes to Alex and Steph. I thanked them both for looking after Elleã for the day, and then they were off. Charlie was saying her goodbyes to Diane and Joaquim, obviously not knowing they'd be joining us in Barcelona. I lifted Elleã up onto my hip, as Lucy put the stroller in the boot of the car. "Did you have fun with Auntie Alex and Stephy ?", I asked Elleã as I buckled her into her seat. Elleã nodded vigorously and replied cheerily "go park mama". "You went to the park, wow!", I replied excitedly. "Yeah!", Elleã replied kicking her feet before I grabbed them so she wouldn't kick me in the face as I secured her buckle. "Here's her teddy and blanket", Luce told me as she handed me both items. I held the teddy out to Elleã and tucked the blanket around her. I gently closed the car door, just as Charlie rounded the car to get in the other side. "I'll chat to you both later, congratulations!", Diane told us both as we were about to get into the car, Lucy driving and me in the passenger seat.
