Charlie's POV:
After the Northern Ireland game, we soon found out that the team would be playing Spain. I watched as Mum filled out the board that she had been doing, it showed the games that were being played and showed who we would be playing.
Since the first day of getting my period, I haven't felt like myself. All I want to do is cuddle with Mum and Keira in bed, but unfortunately I can't do that because they have to play.
Once I knew the team were gonna be playing Spain, I was desperate for a María Leon jersey. My next target to my pestering was Mum. I had given up on Keira, because she seemed to want Bonmati's. Not that Bonmati isn't good, believe me I know she is, I just really wanted Leon's. As we all walked into the dining room, after the team had been out training, I figured now was a good time to start presenting the idea to Mum. I caught up with Mum who was talking to G. "Hi Mum", I said with a big smile on my face. Mum looked down at me and smiled and replied "Hi Charlie, what did you get up to while me and G trained extremely hard", I chuckled and replied "funny one Mum, while you guys were chasing each other, looking like idiots, I was busy trying to teach Ellie how to dribble like Kei does, G you wouldn't understand". Mum and G pretended to be hurt and then G butted in "I am very good at dribbling I'll have you know Mini Bronze". I just waved her off and laughed. When we reached the dining room and began picking what we wanted for lunch Mum turned to me and asked "what ya fancy for lunch ?". I looked at the options and then said "chicken". Mum nodded and grabbed a plate and got me a chicken sandwich. I grabbed an orange juice and then followed Mum to a table, where Kei was trying to get Ellie into her high chair. But Ellie kept kicking her legs, making it impossible for Keira to get her legs in. Mum placed down our tray of food, and grabbed Ellie's legs, so that Kei could get her in the chair. Once she was in it Ellie refused to eat anything, she was sulking. I turned to Mum and said " I think the terrible twos have come early, luckily for you I was never that difficult". Mum chuckled and replied quickly "not sure what you remember from that age, but you definitely had your moments". I huffed at her reply and then decided to bring up the topic of the jerseys. "Mum, are you excited to play Spain, with you joining Barca now ?", I asked looking over at Mum. Mum nodded and replied "Keira was telling me earlier about your special request for something". I looked over at Keira and said "Keira !!, I was gonna ask Mum". Mum and Keira both chuckled and Keira replied "well I got there first, Lucy says she'll try get me a Bonmati shirt". I gasped and looked at Mum, "Mum, that's not fair Keira is old enough to get her own shirt". Mum chuckled at me and Keira bickering over who's shirt Mum would get us. "What if I want someone else's shirt ?", Mum piped up, stopping me and Keira from continuing to bicker and turn to look at her horrified she would even suggest that. Me and Kei started trying to justify why she had to get us our preferred jerseys. Mum just chuckled and then turned to Ellie trying to convince her to eat something. But Ellie was sitting firm and not budging. Mum then stood up causing me and Kei to look at her and she said "I'm gonna bring Ellie for a nap, I think she needs one, and I need a break from you two as well". Me and Keira both frowned at her last comment, while Mum lifted Ellie out of her high chair and carried her out of the room.
I decided to drop the topic of the jersey for now. I turned to Keira and asked "Kei, you know when Mum goes to Barca where will I go ?". Kei looked at me confused "what do you mean ?". I looked down at the floor briefly before looking back up at her and said "well technically you don't have custody of me, does that mean you and Ellie will stay in Manchester and I'll go with Mum to Barcelona". Keira pulled me onto her lap and hugged me tightly before replying "from what me and mum have discussed is that you and Ellie will live with me in Manchester and we will see Mum as often as we can, and any holiday we'll be over there or she'll come to us, but don't worry Charlie me and Mum will make sure everything will be ok". I nodded and leaned into her chest. Keira stood up with me in her arms and carried me out of the dining room. I looked at her confused as to where we were going. Keira just smiled and continued walking. I soon gathered we were going to our room. Keira unlocked the door and quietly closed it behind us. She walked in to see Mum cradling Ellie in her arms who was fast asleep. Keira sat down with me in her arms on the bed. Mum came to join us and Keira leaned her head on Mum's shoulder. I was kind of tired so I decided I'd take a small nap myself. I carefully moved around in Kei's arms until I had found a comfy position and then closed my eyes to doze off.
