Update of this week.  Hope everyone is good and is enjoying the story.  Let me know what you think so far 🥰.

Lucy's POV:

I woke up at 8am this morning to the alarm going off. I rolled over, once I'd turned it off and saw Charlie sleeping in the middle of the bed. She had come into mine and Keira's bed last night. We both knew how she was feeling about the visit being today, so we told her she could sleep in our bed last night. I carefully got out of bed and saw as I walked to the bathroom, that Keira was awake. I stopped walking and waited for her. She got out of bed and came over to me. I wrapped my arms around her and she buried her face into the crook of my neck. I gave her gentle kisses to the top of her head and then I heard her whisper "this is gonna be a long day". I gave her another kiss, before pulling her away and looking at her directly in the eyes and said "it's gonna be long and hard, but we've got this". She nodded her head and then leaned in and kissed me slowly and gently, before we both pulled away and I went into the bathroom while she woke the girls up.

We all trudged down to breakfast, I walked with Ellie slowly walking beside me, holding my hand and Charlie walked slowly just ahead with Keira. We were joined in the lift with G and Leah, who both knew what was happening today. We all stood in the lift and chatted quietly. Ellie stood on my feet, holding both of my hands and babbling up at me. I just nodded my head and tried to understand her babble.

Ever since Ellie had said her first few words, she was slowly gathering new words, but when she was telling a story, they'd contain a lot of sounds and mumbles because she didn't know the words yet.

When we arrived in the dining room, I queued up with Ellie dancing at my feet and Charlie slumped in front of me. She grabbed a bowl and as per usual filled it with Coco Pops. Once Ellie spotted her sister eating the Coco Pops, she wanted to try them, but me and Keira both remembered the last time she had tried them, and almost choked on them, so instead I grabbed a bowl and filled it with some yogurt and fruit, mainly consisting of strawberries and bananas. Keira put in some blueberries for Ellie to try.  We all sat down and slowly the dining room filled with noise as everyone else slowly trickled in for breakfast ahead of our morning training session. During breakfast, I helped Ellie eat her yogurt, because although she could walk, somewhat talk and run around, she hadn't quite mastered holding cutlery, as they usually ended up on the floor.  So as I spoon fed her her yogurt, trying to avoid spilling any, Charlie came over and asked me "can I go to the room and grab a hoodie, I'm a bit cold", I nodded my head and handed her the keycard and watched as she raced off to grab a hoodie. I continued feeding Ellie her breakfast, until we reached the end of the yogurt and she could eat the fruit herself, using her tiny baby fingers.

As I finished my breakfast I saw Charlie coming into the dining room with my England Bronze hoodie. I knew it wasn't hers because the hoodie was oversized on her. She came over to me and sat beside me, slumping into the chair. "Don't get too comfy, we've got training", G piped up, looking over at Charlie. Charlie immediately replied "no G, you've got training, I can get comfy on the sidelines, while you tire yourself out". Georgia huffed, knowing Charlie was right.

As we all walked out to the pitch, I grabbed the stroller, and Charlie and Ellie's rain jackets. Because of the rain, I had made sure to wrap Ellie up warm, because the last thing we needed was a sick child, although the battle of shoes continued, I managed to bribe her with extra cuddles if I could put on her shoes.  I told Charlie to change out of her shorts, but she wasn't having it, so I told her to at least put on a pair of tracksuit bottoms over her shorts, which she did.

As we walked through SGP on the way to the pitches, I was near the back walking with Ellie, and pushing the stroller. When Ellie saw the rain she stopped walking and looked up at me. "Come on Ells, we gotta go outside", I told her, trying to convince her to keep moving. "Wet mumma", she told me, pointing out to the rain outside. "Yeah, I know it's wet, but you can sit in the stroller, nice and warm with your blankie, and watch mumma and mama play football with Lottie beside you", I told her to which she lifted her arms up, so I could pick her up and put her in her stroller. I tucked her in and gave her a kiss, before I pulled the cover over and then put the rain cover over that, to keep out the rain. I was then able to quickly catch up with everyone else, who had already gotten out to the the pitch. I quickly reached the bench that had a roof over it, where Charlie was sat wrapped up in her rain jacket and had her iPad and earphones out. I parked the stroller beside her and ran out onto the pitch to join the training session.

Halfway through training, the rain cleared up, which everyone was obviously delighted about.  We wrapped up training at 1:30pm. At the end of training I stayed back to talk to Sarina, and update her on the situation.  I saw Keira walk over to the subs bench, with Leah and Georgia.   Once I was finished talking to Sarina I caught up with Keira, who was pushing a now empty stroller, with Leah holding Ellie's hand and G and Charlie chasing each other.  I was glad to see Charlie laughing and smiling with G, especially with the visit happening in an hour.  I walked beside Keira and told her "We've got a car so we can drive to the park ourselves and Sarina knows about it", Keira nodded and then asked "what time will we leave at ?", I replied with "In about 15 minutes to make sure we're there on time",  "ok" was all Keira replied with.  We walked through SGP and headed into the changing rooms to shower quickly and get ready to leave.  Georgia, Leah and Beth all walked with us to the car that we'd been allowed to use.  I watched as Charlie hugged Beth who whispered something to her, before pulling away.  I turned to Keira who was trying to explain to Ellie why Leah wasn't coming with us.  I leaned down to Ellie who was already buckled into her car seat and said "we'll see Le later and then she'll play with you", still Ellie wasn't happy and kicked her feet in annoyance.  I gently closed the car door and then walked around to the driver door and got in.  I saw Charlie give Leah one last hug before getting in behind me and buckling herself in.  Keira closed the boot and then got in beside me and we set off.
