Lucy's POV:

As the celebrations in Trafalgar Square came to an end, I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.  I ignored it for now, making a mental note to look at it later.  As the team started to head off the stage, me being one of the lasts, I hopped down the steps and was immediately met by a tearful sight.  Keira was cradling a crying Ellie in her arms and Soph was trying to comfort Charlie who was also in tears.  I dashed over and Charlie leaped over to me and jumped into my arms.  She held tightly onto me as I felt my T-shirt get a little wet.  I rubbed my hand up and down her back trying to comfort her.  "What happened ?", I turned to Mum and Soph.  Soph sighed and Mum looked around before turning to me and Keira.  I frowned at their reactions to the questions.

"We bumped into Gillian", Mum spoke up.  Keira gasped quietly and looked at me, before being distracted with Ellie in her arms.  "What do you mean you bumped into her, where ?, why's Charlie and Ellie in tears ?", I asked concerned for my daughters.  Mum took a breath before answering my questions.  "We were in that cafe St George just off the square, and it was after we'd finished lunch that Charlie spotted her, so we started to make our way out but she made her way over to us,  I didn't say anything that could be used against you in court or anything like that, but she spoke to Charlie, who defiantly spoke up saying she was staying with you both, and Gillian muttered something about Charlie and Ellie not being sisters because they can't be with having 2 mums, and than mumbled that Charlie's her granddaughter too, before we quickly left the cafe and made our way back here".  My jaw dropped at what Gillian had said and looked to Keira who was in the same state.  I pressed a kiss to Charlie's head and whispered "we love you so much and you're not going anywhere without us".  Charlie sniffled and cuddled closer to me.

I looked up when Mum patted my shoulder and said "me and Soph better head, text me when you're on your way up".  I nodded and nudged Charlie "wanna say goodbye to Nana and Auntie Soph ?", Charlie just waved her hand and lifted her head slightly to send a very small smile to them both.  I pulled Mum in for a hug "thanks Mum for everything", I whispered.  Quickly hugging Soph, and watching as Keira said goodbye to them too, before they left , I turned to Keira and said "we better head too".  She nodded and we headed towards the bus that was still patiently waiting for us, no one seeming that bothered about us arriving late.  "All ok ?", Sarina asked us.  "It will be", I replied, smiling over to her before taking a seat not too far behind her.  Most of the team were at the back of the bus, some of them still singing, others quietly chatting and the rest of them sleeping.

I sat down with Charlie on my lap, Keira beside me with Ellie in her lap. I looked to see Ellie still awake, tightly clutching Keira's shirt and the dummy in her mouth. Keira nudged me, gaining my attention away from Ellie and gesturing towards Charlie in my lap, who had fallen asleep, and was cuddled against my chest. I pressed a kiss to her head, and kept her comfortable in my lap.

As the bus pulled away, I remembered my phone buzzing, so I pulled away and immediately saw the notification. I sighed and Keira glanced over at me "what's wrong ?". I pulled the notification back up and passed my phone to Keira as I muttered "Gillian wants to go to court". Keira gasped as she read the message "next week, that soon, is she serious ?", Keira angrily mumbled. I nodded as Keira passed my phone back to me and I slipped it into my pocket. "We've got this Luce, she's not going anywhere", Keira whispered as we both looked down at Charlie who was fast asleep in my arms, unaware of what was about to go down next week.
