Extra update for you all.  Enjoy 😊

Lucy's POV:

As Keira left the house to head into town, I got lunch ready for Charlie and I while Elleã napped. "Mum ?", Charlie piped up from her seat opposite me at the table. I looked over at her and waited for her to continue. "What time is the appointment thing in court at tomorrow ?", Charlie nervously asked me. "It's in the morning at 10am, so we'll leave here at around 9:15am. We'll have a look in your wardrobe for something smart looking after lunch ok ?", I replied softly. Charlie nodded and continued to eat her lunch. Once we had both finished our lunch, we tidied up and headed quietly upstairs to Charlie's room. I closed the door as Charlie opened her wardrobe door and then sat on the bed, waiting while I shifted through her wardrobe to find a suitable outfit. "What about this ?", I pulled out a dress to Charlie who made a face of disgust. "Mum, I'm not wearing that !", Charlie exclaimed. "Ok, ok", I said, turning back to the wardrobe to look again. I pulled out a pair of jeans and a smart top, and turned to show Charlie, who nodded and then pulled out a pair of high top Converse to match the outfit. "Perfect", I replied, hanging the clothes on a separate hanger in the wardrobe.

"Can we go kick some footie Mum ?", Charlie piped up, already heading for the door. "yeah, go on then, you get outside, I need to grab the baby monitor", I replied, following her out the door. I slipped into Ellie's room, and grabbed the baby monitor, making sure it was on, before gently closing the door behind me again. I headed out the back, into the small garden space we had, it was enough to have a small garden set of table and chairs, a small slide for Ellie, and space for kick a football in between two. Narla followed me outside, much to Charlie's disappointment as Narla always tried to sink her teeth into the football, and if we were using a white football, sometimes she would be mistaken for the football.  "Mum, can't we put Narla inside ?", Charlie groaned, as Narla bounced around the garden, waiting for someone to kick the ball.  I chuckled and sighed "fine".  "Come on Narla", I called opening the back door, and quickly closing after Narla ran in.  I placed the baby monitor on the table and then tackled Charlie for the ball.  "Hey !, that's not fair", Charlie squealed immediately trying to get the hall back.

We must have been playing for a while, because neither of us heard the doorbell go, or Keira coming through the house.  It was only when Narla interrupted our playing that we noticed we weren't alone, and that Keira had joined us out in the garden, with Elleã beside her, running to her slide.  "Mumma !", Elleã squealed me over.  I stopped the game of tackling with Charlie and helped Elleã to sit on top of her slide, before helping her go down. She giggled and raced back to get up the slide again with my help. Charlie headed over to Keira, plonking herself on one of the chairs beside her. "Where did you go Kei ?", Charlie piped up. "I had do some boring interview stuff", Keira replied, closing her eyes, as she lay back in the garden chair. "Mama play !!", Elleã shrieked as she ran away from me and over to Keira, who chuckled and replied "is mumma no fun ?". Elleã giggled and nodded, glancing back at me as she nodded. "How rude!", I exclaimed, racing over to pick her up, tickling her, gaining those cute giggles I loved to hear. Charlie joined in but instead of tickling Elleã she started tickling me. Keira just sat back and laughed, as Narla barked around us, running in circles.

After our fun in the garden, we went inside, and Charlie started playing with Elleã, while Keira and I sat in the kitchen. "I was thinking we should talk about how it's going to work with the girls", Keira blurted out, looking over at me. I nodded and turned to properly face her. "I agree", I replied. "But I don't know where to start, although it's all really exciting moving to a new country and learning to play a new style of football, I don't want you to feel like you're a single parent or that the girls feel like they only have one mum they can rely on", I let out, sighing, as Keira grabbed my hand, squeezing it gently, "the girls nor I could ever think that, you do so much for us Luce, let's talk it through, and figure it out together like we always do", Keira replied softly, as we both glanced over to the girls.

As me and Keira discussed our ideas of how to to make our new future work, Charlie and Elleã came racing into the kitchen, screeching "they're here!!".  Me and Keira both looked at each other confused.  "Who's here ?", I asked, trying to wrack my brain over who could possibly be here.  Before either of them could answer us, the doorbell rang, causing Charlie to race to the front door, and Elleã to squeal.  I picked her up onto my hip as I followed Keira to the front door.
