Keira's POV:

This morning Charlie cuddled into Lucy's chest and started whispering something to her that I didn't quite catch.  Lucy looked over at me when she heard it and just hugged Charlie and whispered back to her, she had a nightmare last night so I just figured it would be about that, as did Ellie so me and Lucy had both been up trying to comfort them. Because of the nightmares we were all pretty tired the next morning. Ellie and Charlie stayed near us while we trained in preparation for our match against the Netherlands. The day before the match, she seemed a little bit more like herself, running around with G, whom I had told the news to by then. Her and Leah had been great with Charlie and were very patient with all of us.

Today we have a match against the Netherlands 🇳🇱 in Leeds.  We all had breakfast and then went for our match day walk.  I held Ellie in my arms and Leah was giving Charlie a piggy back ride beside me.  Me, Leah, Beth and Tooney were talking about who would score tonight.  While we were talking Ellie was babbling to herself when she suddenly perked up and said, "mama goal ?", the girls all looked at me and Leah said, "would be your first",  I looked down at Ellie and said, "if mama scores, it'll be for you and Charlie", Charlie cheered at that answer and then Ellie replied, "mumma score ?", I reply quickly, "I don't know, will we ask her ?", she nods her head and starts looking around for Lucy.  I see Lucy near the front walking with Alex and Ellen.  I nudge Ellie who's started to tear up because she can't see Lucy.  She still can't seem to see Lucy, so Charlie decides to scream "Mum".  Lucy immediately turns around looking worried and jogs over to us.  By this stage everyone is looking and have started walking over to us.  When Ellie sees Lucy coming closer, she starts reaching out to her and kicking her legs, as if it would make Lucy come quicker.  Once Lucy reaches us, she takes Ellie from me who had by now noticed everyone surrounding us and instantly buried herself into Lucy's chest.  I immediately knew what was wrong and said to everyone, "can we all get back to our walk ?",  everyone slowly started walking away and it was soon only me, Lucy, Leah, G, Tooney, Beth and the two girls.  Lucy looked over to me as she stood with Ellie in her arms gently rubbing circles on her back.  I told her, "she wanted to know if you'd score tonight",  Lucy looked down at Ellie and said to her, "you want mumma to score tonight ?", Ellie immediately looked up at her and nodded her head enthusiastically and said, "mumma goal", grinning around at all of us.  I whispered to Lucy what I had said and she immediately looked at Ellie and Charlie and said, "if I score tonight I'll point to you two, just so you both know it's for you two, ok ?",  Charlie grins and Ellie just squeals and then reaches back over to me.  I take her back and we all walk together catching up with everyone else.

We all load up onto the bus and I sit with Elleã on my lap and Lucy sat down beside me.  I looked over at her and she leaned closer to me and said "Charlie told me something important this morning that will definitely help our case with the lawyer", I turned to look at her and quietly asked "what ?",  Lucy looked around before leaning back and saying "She told me that a while ago she was on her iPad and she saw that someone had messaged her saying they know all about her dad and if she wanted to meet them",  I turned and looked at Lucy with shock and worry on my face.  "I told her not to reply and that we would handle it", Lucy replied.  "Don't worry Kei, we won't let anything happen to her", I just nodded and leaned my head against her shoulder and continued the journey to Elland Road Stadium in Leeds.  It's another special match today because Rachel is getting her 50th cap and it's even more special because it's in her home stadium.  Once we all arrive we look around the stadium and begin our pitch inspection.  I walk with Ellie as we walk around the pitch, of course at a slow pace.  We slowly make our way into the changing rooms to get ready for our warm up.
