Sapphire pov

                It’s been two weeks, six days, 19 hours, and 23 minutes since EJ’s world came tumbling down and it’s affecting us all, over the last ten years Tanya became a big part in our lives and now she’s…..gone.

                I sighed and got up from my room and walked down to the kitchen, as I walked in Izzy was trying to reach a cup from the top shelf. I cleared my throat to let her know I was there, she turned around and smiled; a few days after Izzy was born she wasn’t growing as fast as we were and we later found out she was fully human.

                “Sapphire can you please help me” I smiled and walked over to the counter, it’s pretty funny to call Izzy my aunt even if she really is; she just wants to be called by her name. As I stood next to her it’s hard to think we are the same age, I’m 5’6 and she barley hit’s my chest in height but I love her anyway. I grabbed the cup and handed it to her but she was looking at the clock.

                “What are you doing Izzy?” she smiled and looked at the door, right on time grandpa or Edward as others know him walked in.

                “Daddy!” she screamed and ran at him, he smiled and lifted her up in his arms and kissed her forehead. One thing Izzy likes about supper strength was that Edward could still carry her; he swung her so she was on his hip and took the cup from my hand.

                “How was hunting?’ I asked him as he got Izzy her juice, Izzy maybe a human but she knows all about vampires, and is supposed to be changed at 19.

                “All right kind of boring but I got a mountain lion” he said with a crooked grin, I never realized how much EJ looked like him. His smiled dropped and he set Izzy down on the floor. “Izzy sweetie how about you go and watch you show, I need to talk to Sapphire for a minute” she nodded and skipped to the living room. As he turned back to me I knew what he was going to ask, I shook my head.

                “No he hasn’t come out” he nodded and with a sigh he leaned against the counter.

                -I’m going to talk to him- he smiled and nodded.

                “Just give him time” I smiled and kissed his cheek.

                “I know grandpa” he chuckled and I walked to EJ’s room. It was at the end of the hall with the black door; I knocked on the door and slowly opened it. EJ was sitting in his desk chair looking out the window at the forest. I sat down on the bed and started at him, he turned around and gave me a small smiled and beckoned me forward. I got up and sat down in his lap as his arms came up and wrapped around me. The thing with EJ and I was we always got along, the same with how he and Cole got along, but If Cole, EJ, and I were in the same room we would try and fight for EJ’s attention.

                He chuckled and leaned his head against mine and let out a sigh, times like this I wish the world would freeze and we could stay like this.

                “I’ve been talking to Cole” he said I looked up at his face and smiled. “I’m thinking about sharing a room with him again” I smiled and covered my thoughts from grandpa.

                -is Cole okay with that? I mean he has really shied away from the guys when he told you he is gay-

                “I told him I didn’t mind and he finally said yes” I smiled at this, EJ needs someone to talk to and get out of this rut.

                “Tell me about it” he sighed and hugged me closer to him.
