Chapter 10

The following morning, we sat Chris down and had a talk with him. "Does this mean bucks my dad?" Chris asked. "Uhm, we can talk about that later on buddy okay? For now I'm still just Buck? Is this all okay with you?" I respond. "Yeah, I'm glad you make my dad happy. I love you Buck, I love you dad." "We love you too mijo." Eddie said, pulling Chris in for a hug. "Now let's go to the zoo!!" I say, honestly I think I'm more excited than Chris.

When we arrived at the zoo, we saw the girrafes first. "Woah." I said. For the next hour I ran around the zoo like a child. "Buck babe, your acting like a kid on Christmas, it's cute." Eddie said, recording me. "Buck, look !!" Chris shouts, pointing at the lions. "Woah THEYRE SO COOL !!" i shout, running over to the enclosure. "Me voy a casar con este chico" "What?" I ask. "Nothing mi mundo, Are you two ready to go?" "No." I say. "Cmon Buck, we can get icecream !!" Chris says, excited. "Fineee, but I want two scoops." "Such a child" Eddie says, grabbing my hand to pull me up, except he doesn't let go, and neither do I. I liked holding his hand in public, it felt, natural.

We headed to get icecream from our favourite icecream shop, I got two scoops of vanilla, Chris got two scoops of chocolate and Eddie got one scoop of mint choco chip. We sat on the wall that faced the sea and ate our icecream. "Thank you dad." Chris said. "It's okay buddy, I love spending time with you." He replied, which warmed my heart so much. We decided to stay at mine tonight as we had work and carla was keeping Chris overnight at eddies anyway.

When we got back to mine, Eddie slumped onto the couch and I grabbed us two beers. "I'm going to order us food, what do you want mi vida?" He asked, taking the beer I handed him. I sat down on the couch next to him. "Uhm, idk." I say, I didn't wanna eat, but I knew I had too. "Cmon buck, I'll get you pepperoni pizza and fries?" He said, "okay" I reply, moving closer to him and cuddling him. "Baby, when will we tell the 118 about us?" He asked. I genuinely hadn't thought about that. "Uhm why don't we walk in tomorrow holding hands? That will give them the hint." I reply. "Okay deal" he says, pulling me closer to him.

Once our pizzas got here, we sat on the couch and ate them. I actually finished the whole thing, and half my fries. "Proud of you mi amor." Those words made me wanna sob. I'd never felt so loved. I gave him a warm smile as he cleared up. "I love you" I said. "I love you more." He replied, kissing my forehead. "I'm going for a shower, wanna join me?" Eddie asked. "Oh I have been waiting for this." I said. We ran upstairs and jumped in the shower, our lips met and we made out for awhile, then one thing lead to another and.... Yeah.

Once we where out the shower, we headed to my bedroom and cuddled up, watching tvd, obviously. "Goodnight my love." I said, kissing his jaw. "Goodnight mi amor" he said, stroking my hair. I loved spending my nights with him, tomorrow I was going to be by myself, I wasn't ready to sleep alone. I'm going to miss him. I'm going to miss his warmth next to me, his weight on me, his smile, his comfort, his company. I am going to miss my boy.
