VIENNA'S HAND HIT THE ALARM OFF. She groaned burying her head into her pillow.
"What's wrong?" Eddie asked with a slight chuckle pulling the brunette closer to him.
"It's Rossi's last day" She mumbled.
"Shouldn't you be proud of that?" Eddie questioned furrowing his brows in confusion.
"I am" Vienna replied lifting her head from the pillow to look at Eddie. "Just, I don't have the energy to deal with her today"
Eddie laughed at her words as she hit him on the shoulder lightly. "It's not funny"
"Okay, okay...what if I make breakfast and you get ready. Sound good?" Eddie asked her as she tried to hide her smile.
She nodded, "You know I love you right?" She asked.
"Yeah, you tell me all the time" He teased as she playfully rolled her eyes before Eddie gave her a kiss on the lips and got out of bed.
...
"So, you're not gonna miss riding with me at all?" Rossi asked again as Vienna pulled out of the parking spot outside the station.
"It's a job, not happy hour" Vienna told her with an eye roll.
"Mm. Denial. Check" Rossi mumbled to herself just loud enough for Reyes to hear.
"What?" The brunette asked her giving her a quick glance.
"Nothing"
Reyes rolled her eyes again driving onto the main road for the morning patrol, "Do you see yourself as my mentor?" Rossi questioned looking over to her.
"No. I'm your T.O. It's my job to make sure you're not dangerously incompetent when you hit the streets without supervision tomorrow" Summer didn't answer. "You know, when I was a rookie. I couldn't wait to get off probation"
"Oh, I am excited. Believe me, but I also know the importance of acknowledging your loss when going through something like this" Rossi explained. Vienna furrowed her brows in confusion.
"Acknowledging your loss?" She questioned with a chuckle. "You're gonna see me tomorrow at the station, what's there to talk about?"
"A lot" Summer told her with a grin. She pulled out a piece of paper from her pocket. "I have a list"
"A list?" Vienna asked unamused. Rossi went unfolded the piece of paper but Vienna quickly grabbed it from her hand and threw it out the open car window.
"You know, littering is a $250 fine"
Reyes smirked slightly. "Worth it" Rossi rolled her eyes crossing her arms over her chest.
