(Daigo is seen in the hospital bed, sleeping as he suddenly groans.)
Daigo: No...
(Daigo's Nightmare)
(Daigo is seen returning home as he sees his house in ruins, and then he turns to witness the Phenex Clan executing his family.)
Daigo: (worried) MOMMY! DADDY!
(Then the Phenex Clan laughs maniacally as the village burns.)
Daigo: No... NO... NOOOOOOOOO!
(Back to reality, Daigo wakes up and breathes heavily.)
Daigo: Phew... that was just a nightmare... a terrible one indeed.
(Some minutes later, Daigo has been fully recovered and returns to the ruins of his house, but he suddenly finds Makoto.)
Daigo: Makoto? What are you doing here?
Makoto: So this is where you live?
Daigo: Only what remains of this place.
Makoto: I wonder what happened to this place.
Daigo: The Phenex Clan happened.
Makoto: Why am I not surprised?
Daigo: My family was specialized in fighting supernatural threats, even fangires. My father was the original developer of the Ixa System to combat these kind of threats. Unfortunately the Phenex Clan's leader was somehow aware of our plot, and to ensure their so-called survival, he ordered the massacre which wiped out not only my family, but my entire clan. I was the only one remaining, and through my father's teachings, I managed to finish the project, and I started fighting the supernatural ever since.
Makoto: Well, I'm half-human half-fangire.
Daigo: What does it mean?
Makoto: All I remember is that my father was very fond of humans, and even married one of them.
Daigo: (shocked) Your mother was a human?
Makoto: Yep, and that's how I became the prince of Fangires.
Daigo: Wow, now I'm impressed.
Makoto: Well, it was good to talk with you, Daigo.
Daigo: Same. You can be trusted since you saved my girls.
Makoto: Well, see you later then.
Daigo: See you later.
(Then they go into separate ways and go to their respective houses as they prepare to sleep.)
Makoto: Tomorrow will be the day.
(Makoto then goes to his bed and starts sleeping.)
(Daigo is seen in his house and goes to sleep as well.)
Daigo: (in mind) Tomorrow will be the day everything will change. I just hope it's not too late.
(Then Daigo starts sleeping as the screen fades out.)
