I must've fallen asleep, because I awoke to Mattheo on the edge of my bed, just watching me sleep.

"Thats a bit creepy, you know?" And I giggled.

He smiled and looked down at the floor, "Im sorry, I didn't want to wake you"

I sat up, and noticed it was now dark out, "Im starving did I miss dinner?" I said worried.

"I brought you up a plate, all your favorites." he said as he pointed to my night table.

I grabbed it and smiled at him. He was much nicer than others had thought. If the others even thought he was nice. He's painted out to be this monster, because of his father. Its good to know what he endured as a child, didn't break this part of him.

I finished rather quickly, I hadn't had a proper meal in a few days.

"Come with me, I want to show you something." He said grabbing my hand, he lead me all the way up to the astronomy tower.

It was absolutely breathtaking at night, the moons reflection off the black lake, the sounds of the animals. I could stay here forever.

"I could not apologize to you enough Amelia, for whatever is about to happen." He whispered.

"Enough about that!" I snapped. I was tired of hearing it. "I know what I got my self into Mattheo, I will be fine."

He backed away, seeing my frustration.

"i'm sorry its just" he stopped for a moment. "It's just I know my father and" he stopped again.

"I know your father too. And no matter what he does to me, or what he says to me. It will not change anything." My tone, very firm. I meant it.

"I hope so." He stared off into the lake. "I'd never forgive myself if it did."

We stood there, in silence for a while, only our fingers touching. I don't think either of us knew what to say. We walked back to my room, once again in silence. I stopped him at the door.

"I'm going to spend the rest of the evening with Pansy, I think I owe it to her." I placed my hand on his chest.

"I don't want you to be alone." He sounded scared.

"I'll be fine Mattheo." I pulled him into a kiss, and went to turn into my dorm.

He pulled me back in, for a deeper one, starred deep into my eyes, and huffed. Then let me go, its as if he knew something I didn't.

I walked into an empty room, relived almost. I took this chance to shower and take time to try to relax.

I wonder where Pansy could possibly be. I took an extra long shower, which consisted of me mostly starring off into space.

When I finally got out, brushed my long hair, threw on my comfiest pajamas and went to head for my bed.

When I left my bathroom, there he stood.

My father.

Ive never seen the look he had across this face. He was in his usual suit, holding his cane.

I stopped dead in my tracks. I guess that owl flew very fucking fast.

"Father" I jumped.

"Shut it." He spat, darting towards me.

He grabbed my arm and the next thing I knew I was being apperated out of the castle.
