I woke up in the middle of the night to mumblings in my bathroom.

"i don't think she's doing well, she keeps zoning out, you seen her at the lake. She wasn't there." Theo?

"look at what she just went though idiot!" I heard a slap and Pansy?

"i haven't seen her since she came back, why won't she come out of this room?" Enzo sounded very concerned.

"You seen the look in her face when she was hexing Draco, she wasn't going to stop and you know it" Theo hissed

"she shouldn't have, he deserved every second." Mattheo spat back.

"i agree, but her of all people hexing people on school grounds? She doesn't even leave her room without her wand! She isn't right and you know it"

I couldn't hear it anymore, I got out of bed, made my way to the doorway, and cleared my throat.

"Secret meeting?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"No, Amelia were just concerned about you thats all" Enzo said, squinting his eyes at me.

"Yeah, so concerned your whispering in my ear in the middle of the night like I've turned into some monster." I scoffed

"Amelia we ju-" Theo started

"No, you know what everyone just get out, as Mattheo felt so important to tell me before, I need rest, so just get the fuck out" I Made my way back to my bed, and seen Mattheo heading to my bed too, "nope. You too. Just go." As I placed the blankets over me.

I wasn't the same person, how could they expect me to be? I just laid there, waiting for sunrise. And when it finally came I had to get ready for classes, I couldn't give them any more reason to be concerned about me.

I put makeup over my black eye, and there was no makeup in the world that could cover the gash which was now scaring. I made my way down to the great hall for breakfast. I tried my best to ignore the looks I was getting on the way there.

As I turned the corner, I put on my happy face. I didn't want to rise more cause for concern, I needed to act like my old self again.

I look my usual seat, next to Pansy.

"Good morning everyone!" I said with a big smile.

Their looks of confusion said enough.

"Morning Malfoy?" Enzo question.

I grabbed the muffin on the plater in front of me and took a big bite "I am so excited to get back to classes! Have I missed anything important?" I asked the group.

They all looked at me like I had completely gone mental.

"Are you sure youre ready to go back?" Theo questioned.

"don't question her. If she says she's ready, she's ready" Mattheo spat back nastily.

"I am ready! And I am so beyond ready for the quidditch party tonight!" I squealed excitedly, getting up from my seat and heading to class. Mattheo quickly caught up to me.

"Are you okay?" He said pulling my arm.

"I am perfectly fine!" I giggled, giving him a quick kiss "Can't be late! Lets go!" As I walked faster to class.

It was hard to ignore all their looks during lessons. And my professors faces when they seen my face after this weekend. It was a day of reassuring that it was just an accident while I was riding my broom. I hope they bought it.

The game went marvelously, we won against hufflepuff, which wasn't a surprise. They sucked. Mattheo played such a good game.

I headed back to my dorm to get ready for the party.

"Are you sure your up for this Lia?" Pansy asked while applying her lip gloss.

"Of course I am! I'm fine I told you guys!" I exclaimed.

"I know but it just" I cut her off.

"Oh! I get it. If I act broken its problem, but when I'm back to normal its a bigger problem! I told you, I'm fine. Move on with it." I spat at her, it came out more rude than I was intending, but I think I made my point clear.
