She stopped immediately. Backing away from me, wit her head down.

I did my very best to stand up right away, to try to show strength. To try to act like I didn't physically want to just drop dead right here.

"Come." Voldemort whispered, motioning his finger to the table right in front of him.

I tried to walk tall and proud, but I couldn't bring my self to take my eyes off the floor.

"Look me in the eye." He ordered.

I lifted my head, looking straight into his lifeless eyes.

"Your Amelia?" I nodded back at him.

"And you 'love' my son?" He tilted his head.

"I do" I said as proud as I could.

"You will address me correctly Miss Malfoy." He spat. This made my skin crawl. I didn't want to say it. I didn't believe it. I couldn't say it.

"I do, my lord." You could read my sarcasm from across the room.

"I see why my son fancies you" he said with a lifeless chuckle.

I starred forward at him, unamused.

" I see your father has done a number on your face, Mattheo won't be happy. Tsk tsk. Why?" Once again tilting his head.

"My lord I-" my father tried to intervene.

"I asked the girl!" He shouted at him.

When he yelled you felt the whole room shift, you felt everyone get tense, and put their guards up. Everyone except me. He noticed I didn't flinch when he yelled, or move at all.

He looked back at me for an answer.

"We had a disagreement, my lord" I said, once again emotionless

"Ah I see." He looked at his table of followers. "What do we think? Is she worthy of my son? Does she have what it takes?" I wondered if he was legitimately asking this question and expecting an answer.

Once again, I took it upon my self to answer. "I am" not breaking eye contact with him.

"How dare you speak to him like that you little girl!" I heard from Bellatrix, suddenly striking me again.

I hit the floor, but used all my strength to not scream, I just sat on my knees holding my head.

"harm her again, and I will harm you." I heard him say. "stand up, Amelia" my name sounded dirty coming out of his mouth, like I didn't want it to be mine anymore.

"You will give me your arm, and you will make the unbreakable vow, to stand by my son and all his imperfections. I don't believe in love. I believe in loyalty. And now, you shall serve him." He said, strongly, holding his arm out to me.

"Gladly" I shoved my arm out, I don't think I quite understood the magnitude of what was happening, but I knew I wanted to prove my self to him. I knew if I broke this vow, I would die. But I truly didn't care.

He took my arm in his and suddenly a bright white string like fog spread around both our arms, binding them together. I never broke my eye contact, and neither did he. It stayed for a minute or two, and then disappeared, leaving a faint white scar across my hand and forearm.

I went to take my arm back, when he grabbed it, flipping it over and holding his wand to it. Mumbling some type of incantation. I immediately felt burning in my arm.

Oh fuck no.
