A COMFORTING AND UNIQUE feeling of warmth rose throughout your body, calming the pain you felt immediately.

A feeling that you forgot ever existed.

When was the last time you felt as healthy and well as you currently were feeling? It was mesmerizing to say the least. You felt like as if you would sway through clouds and feel the warmth of the sun on your [s/c] skin.

However, you knew that this was imaginary.

You weren't in the position to receive such care.

Fluttering your eyes open, you came in sight with a bright and white light that made you squint your eyes close again.

"Huh," You heard a voice chime next to you, making you turn your head. "didn't think you would wake up so soon."

Having all your thoughts recollected, as well as sorted out your emotions and suspicions, you slowly came to notice and understand that someone you had never seen before just stood right next to you.

It was probably due to that person you finally felt good again. Healthy and well.

"It's kind of crazy how you managed to injure yourself with your own cursed energy."

Huffing, you turned away. "You don't know anything."

"Well, I do know that your lungs almost exploded. You even choked on your own blood."

"Too bad they didn't. Now I have to deal with you as well." You grumbled, venom clearly to be heard in your voice. "I can't just stay dead, can't I?"

"You were never dead to begin with."

Raking a hand through your hair, brushing it out of your face, you looked at the person in front of you.

It was a woman.

You came to a realization almost in an instant that she was some kind of doctor with the way she was wearing some kind of scrub or lab coat. She was probably also the reason you were still alive and well. Much better than how you were feeling before.

You didn't have any tiredness left within you or the constant feeling of pain, headaches and nausea.

"What did you do?" You mumbled.

Humming, the brown-haired woman tapped her chin. "Hmm, nothing much. I just healed you. I did notice you also were suffering from other minor things, so I just healed you fully."

Nodding, you slowly got up and stepped out of the bed you were in.

"You should rest."

"I don't need to do anything."

Stepping away, you began walking towards the door to leave. You however, didn't make it to the door as you came in sight with your reflection through a mirror on the wall.

It made your eyes widen.

Was that even you?

The color you were missing on your face came back, your eyes shone brighter, lips popping with the color of [s/c], your eye bags were nonexistent — completely gone, and you swore you saw your younger self inside the mirror reflection.

You were healthy again. Fully.

You couldn't believe that the person you were seeing was just you. After all, all those weeks, months and years you had been miserable.

"I couldn't believe so myself." You heard the woman behind you exclaim. "You came in here looking like you were hanging onto a thread. So when I saw your true appearance after coming back from healing everything that pulled you down, I thought I was in the wrong room at first."

Chuckling, the brown-haired woman crossed her arms over her chest and continued. "You're really prett—"

"How is the devil doing, Shōko?" An amused voice interrupted the woman as the door was slammed open. "Did she wake up yet?"

Taking a look at the empty hospital bed, Satoru felt his throat thicken upon noticing you were missing.

Not a good sign.

He now understood how much destruction you can cause, and now with you being gone — that certainly wasn't a good sign as he couldn't be able to track your cursed energy with you concealing it.

Masamichi surely would throw Satoru into the dungeons.

"Fuck! Shōko, where the hell is that woman?! Do you even know that she is the devil?!" It was now Satoru turning and watching every single corner of the room, proceeding to stop his attention at the back of your head as you still were looking at yourself through the mirror. "Who's that?"

Turning around with a tick mark on your forehead, you crossed your arms over your chest and gave Satoru an unimpressed look.

He has the six-eyes but couldn't recognize you.

"Wait.." Satoru widened his eyes. "I..— I know you somewhere. You remind me of someone, but I don't.. I don't remember." A frown was now displayed on his face.

"Satoru," Shōko tiredly sighed. "That's the person you were looking for. That's Hinoka—"

"Ugh, just— Just stop calling me by my last name." You frowned. "Now that I'm stuck with you, at least call me (Y/n)."

"Well, (Y/n) it is." Shōko chuckled. "Anyway, Satoru, that's (Y/n). The devil, as you like to call her."

Turning to face you completely, the white-haired male stood still. He most definitely didn't believe Shōko. Not once had he uttered a single word nor made any kind of sound.

He even lifted his blindfold to make sure he was seeing right.

It irked you.

What kind of violation were you before? Did you really look that bad when you literally weren't taking the best care of yourself? You at least managed to sleep two hours every day. On lucky days it were three.

Of course you were used to how you looked.

After all, you completely forgot how you were as a person now that you had your energy back, your tiredness gone and all kind of health issues resolved as well.

With an emotionless face, Satoru turned around, stepped out of the room and came back just a few moments later.

"So I'm not in the wrong room."

Wincing in anger and annoyance, you grabbed the nearest thing around you and threw it at the blindfolded male. It was something that happened to be a vase filled with water and flowers.

And who would've thought? It didn't hit him.

Due to his infinity that Satoru always had activated, the vase fell to the ground and broke as it landed against the invisible shield covering the male.

"That was my vase.." Shōko unimpressively muttered. "And my flowers.."

Grinning, the blue-eyed male let out a whistle as he clapped. "The devil surely is a beauty! Too bad she's rotten from the inside."

Clicking your tongue, you glared at the grinning face of Satoru. "You're both, you clown. Rotten from the inside and outside."

"Oh, come on. We both know I'm handsome."

"I really can't do this anymore."

"Well, at least you don't look like a corpse anymore."

"I'll make sure you'll end up being one."
