A FEELING SO HEAVY washed upon you that it made you loosen the grip you had on the boy's wrists. A mistake from your end.

Nothing made any sense anymore.

The smallest bit of logic vanished.

It was crazy how reckless you were currently being. You couldn't recognize yourself. Mistakes over mistakes are currently surfacing due to you being the cause of them. It was unbelievable.

A true disgrace.

But now, upon realizing your mistake, you let go. You let go of everything and anything you were holding onto, the last pieces and bits of your sanity.

It was now you falling onto the ground, head once again hitting the hard floor as you refrained from resisting or helping yourself.

'Everything went in vain.' You closed your eyes.

The grip on you was strong, almost like as if the high schooler was scared of you. As if you would turn into a demon in any second now, that is how strong his grip was.

"Megumi, don't you think that you're being too rough on her?" Another voice chimed.

"Tsk, if you would know how she moved, you would do the same." The dark-haired boy tightened his grip even further. "One of the dogs I summoned were after her and began attacking her." Megumi looked at the traces of blood on your shoulder.

"Hmm."

The high schooler's company started to approach you and bent down to look at your face. There wasn't an ounce of emotion within you visible.

It was almost like as if you had accepted fate and would be done with the rest of the world.

As if you weren't bothered by the current situation.

"You oddly enough look like someone at peace. Say, do you—"

"At peace?" You softly spoke up, voice small and quiet. "You sorcerers bring nothing but darkness to this world."

"Sorcerers?" Megumi furrowed his eyebrows together. "How do you—"

"Do you even know what you're talking about? You make it seem like we're the bad guys!" A pout was now on the unknown company's face.

"Gojō-Sensei, how come she knows about us? She doesn't even have cursed energy! She's just a.. just a girl."

"Megumi, you mean a woman."

Rolling his eyes, the green-eyed boy began to scan your appearance for anything that might give him a clue.

But there wasn't anything.

You were just a normal woman, a civilian that doesn't even bare cursed energy. However, you managed to see one of Megumi's divine dogs — furthermore, it attacking you and trying to rip you to shreds. And now you mentioning sorcerers... You kind of were a walking red flag to them.

Megumi for once had to clue what to do.

"So, Miss Unknown, how about you tell us who you are and we'll let you free."

"Gojō—!"

Satoru held his hand high, directing his student to remain quiet.

"Hm? We have a deal or not?"

Eyes remaining close and then not having been opened once, you didn't answer and remained silent. You were done. Once for all.
