"Axial. I don't even know where to begin with this." I sigh pacing back and forth in my room now.
Axial's blue eyes were sizing me up as she never took her eyes off me even for a minute. I'm sure she thought I would try run away on her.
Like I could get far from the all star athlete.
"How about you tell me how I had to hear it from Daniel Pierce himself!" Axial yells clearly not minding if the whole floor comes and knocks on my door.
"Wait? What did he tell you?" I ask suspicious there is no way Daniel confessed to what he had done to her sister.
"He told me about the note you wrote to fool my sister! I even saw you with the damn letter that night!" Axial face gets redder and redder from anger.
My hands begin to shake as I hate to be yelled at because my father always yells at me before he lashes out on me.
I involuntarily clench my fist tightly together and unclench them to help calm me down.
"You have it wrong! It was him who set me up! I have proof to stay here." I plead dashing out the door to head to where Matt is currently at.
He owes me big time and he's going to tell the truth about what his brother did.
Axial actually obeys me and stays in my room as I hunt Matt down knowing his shift schedule for today.
Heading towards the reception area I press the bell signaling for him to show his stupid face.
"Stop ringing the bell I'm coming." Matt groans as he approaches the front desk.
When he does manage to get up here he takes one look at me eyes widening and turns around trying to walk away from me.
"Pierce!" I yell after him jumping off the reception desk and chasing him.
I know I was no athlete, but surely I could outrun someone like Matt.
My feet begin to catch speed more as Matt begins to slow down in the hallway of the lodge. I take this opportunity to tackle him like we are football players making sure to pin him down.
"Normally, I would be so turned on about a situation like this." Matt admits as he blows a strand of his curly chest nut colored hair out of his eyes.
Feeling absolutely disgusted with his comment I grip his arms even more causing him to flinch in pain.
"You know what this is about." I seriously say as my emerald eyes narrow on his frightened face.
"I can't betray my brother." He says trying looking away from me.
"You owe me, remember." I say trying jog his memory of what I did for him for him to owe me one.
"Damn you, Fields." Matt grits out as I loosen my grip on him as he gets up.
Some by standers is eyeing us weary wondering if they should call the police probably.
"Not here. Let's head to my room." I demand staying close to him to make sure he doesn't run off again.
"Already inviting me to your room?" Matt tried to flirt with me knowing damn well I am a lesbian. I hate guys like him. With a pure passion.
Must control rage. Must control my rage.I clench my fist and unclench them as I escort him to my room.
Axial sat nearby on a cream colored couch with her arms and legs crossed looking like she could tear this room apart any moment now.
