Chapter 10- Kiss Me Like Your Falling In Love

My phone blows up with twelve miss calls and texts from my father. I push the block button and blast my music down the road to the high school.

When I arrive at the school I step out my vehicle noticing that a certain truck wasn't in it's usual parking spot. Evelyn wasn't at school today or maybe she was just running late.

My theory became correct about her not coming to school when I see her best friend walking like a zombie into the school building alone. Usually where Evelyn went, Karin follows her.

I have to get the the bottom of why Evelyn was skipping school. She hated to miss school. Already catching up to him I call out his name.

He turns around revealing dark circles underneath his eyes as he sports a loose red shirt with blue jeans. Geez he must of not slept to well.

"What do you want?" Karin snappily asks causing me to blink at his aggressive nature this morning.

"I just want to— I just want to ask is Evelyn doing okay?" I ask with concern. Karin who sports the opposite of concern for me laughs.

"No. In fact you should do her a favor and leave her alone." Karin suggests as he turns to leave me.

"Wait!" I plead with him walking by his side as he sighs clearly annoyed with me.

"Fiona." Karin warns not in mood deal with me.

"Listen, I know you don't owe me anything but haven't you ever hurt someone you really care for? Could you just please tell her I need talk to her?" I beg giving him my best puppy dog eyes I could muster.

Apparently it works as he agrees to help get Evelyn talk to me.

I launch and give him a quick hug which he didn't expect as he tenses then relaxes into it gently patting me which was a little awkward.

I quickly release him about to head to class when both him and I hear shouting not to far the distance.

"You need leave Evelyn alone." Axial states fists balled up to her side and her face was blood red from anger.

"Whose going stop me you? What about your princess over there?" Daniel darkly laughs gesturing towards me.

"Guys we should be doing this in the hallway." I say hoping they took the hint they need to break it up.

"Fiona is right. Let's take this outside." Axial says already walking out the front doors of the school. What about class though?

No one seemed to care about being late when it came to a fight with Axial involved.

"Fine by me." Daniel smirks putting his fists up as he swings and misses.

Axial manages to dodge most of his punches as she gets in two good hits making blood spill from his nose.

"Bitch!" Daniel shrieks drawing back his fist while holding his nose with one hand. This time when Axial dodges he did manage to hit someone it just wasn't Axial.

He tries to come at me to which my quick reflexes kick in and I move gracefully to the side. Unfortunately for Karin that means he was the prime target of his fist.

It barely connect as it graces Karin's face but nonetheless knocks him on his ass anyways. That boy really needs toughen up maybe I should give him some karate lessons.

All was fine though because Daniel's brother, Matt catches Karin in time before he falls.

"Am I in heaven?" Karin dramatically asks eye balling Matt who rolls his eyes and decided to drop him.
