Chapter 72- I Would Take a Bullet for You

   Opening my eyes I wake up all alone in my massive bed. Stretching out my arms and legs I make my way towards the bathroom.

   I give myself a nice hard look in the mirror noticing that my crimson hair is getting too long for my liking. Grabbing a tooth brush and tooth paste I brush my teeth.

   Once all that is done I decide to lay me out an outfit while the shower is running.

  Heading all the noises Lyric climbs the stairs leaning against my door frame observing me.

   "Pick the red one it suites you better." Lyric states giving myself a jump scare.

   "How long have you been up?" I ask a blush forming across my pale cheeks.

  "Since you been up you sound like an elephant up here stomping around." Lyric says with a grin on her face.

  "Now you are starting to sound like my crazy old neighbor." I tell her rolling my eyes while I gather my clothes.

    "Want to shower together?" Lyric asks after a few minutes of silence between us.

   I literally drop all my clothes that is in my hands as I bend down to gather them.

   Lyric bends down with me helping since she is the main cause of this. Eyeing Lyric I can't tell if she is serious or not.

    Her face conveys nothing as she casually asks me if I want to shower with her again.

  "Woman do you not have any morals?" I ask as she steps right in front of me eyeing me carefully.

   "I have morals I just assume you are in a rush like myself and if we share the shower we be saving in time." Lyric explains like it's the most logical approach.

   "You can have the shower." I say quickly rushing down the stairs only to end up colliding into Sophia.

    Sophia quick reflexes catches me in time before I hit the floor.

   "Already falling for me?" Sophia jokingly asks making my face turn red like my hair.

  Her arm is still securing my waist as she hoists me up into her lovely chest.

   "You should be more careful." She tells me brushing a strand of my crimson hair behind my ear.

   Quickly gathering my own thoughts I manage to get out of her arms and make my way to the kitchen.

    I decide not to tell Sophia about my encounter with Lyric as I crack a few eggs on a frying pan.

   "Where is Lyric?" Sophia asks scanning around my apartment for her.

  "Showering." I say shortly avoiding Sophia gaze on me.

   "Shouldn't you help her?" Sophia asks like it is the most normal courtesy thing to do.

   "Ex..excuse me?" I ask my eyes widen in shock. This causes Sophia to roll her grey eyes at me.

  "She got shot remember? Lyric won't be able to lift her arm high enough to shampoo her hair." Sophia explains as it finally clicks in my brain.

  "Oh..oh!" I say realizing I'm a pervert that needs to be punished.

  Sophia bursts out laughing at my reaction and says, "You are such a pervert."

   I tell her to shut up and finish fixing the eggs while I went up stairs to check on Lyric.

    "Lyric..?" I say her name through the bathroom door hearing the shower.
