Chapter 15- Coming Clean

    We all decide to wait nearby where Evelyn is. I tap my foot out of anxiousness for both Axial and Evelyn.

    This clearly annoys Camila as she tells me to stop with the damn tapping. In return I flip her off and do it even louder.

    "It's been awhile." Karin voices out what we all have been thinking.

  He is right Evelyn been back there for awhile now. Maybe I should go check on her.

  Just as I am getting up, Evelyn comes out looking paler than Casper the friendly ghost.
  
  We all rush over to her side as I help her sit down near a bench.

  "Axial better survive." Evelyn keeps on mumbling I don't know if it is towards or herself.

  Feeling like I need give her some support I say, "She's a touch chick. She will pull through." As I say those words even I am starting have my own doubts.

  What if she doesn't pull through? What if she dies just like how her sister died.

  These what ifs wasn't doing me any good. I just got out of the hospital bed, I didn't want go back to it from a heart attack.

    Speaking of what ifs I really need to talk to Evelyn about something important.

  "Evelyn." Camila and I say her name at the same time. You have got to be kidding me. I send her a glare which she matches I try speak up again, but I get run over by Camila.

  To my dismay, Evelyn tells Camila she can speak to her first. Was Camila always going come first when it comes to her?

  I sigh clearly annoyed by the whole situation. Which Evelyn notices my annoyances and gives me a kiss on my cheek promising me a talk later.

     I did not want to stick around for the chat between Evelyn and Camila.

    As soon as I left them I begin to roam the hospital floor. All the staffs were either rushing for emergencies or gossiping talking on their phones. Until they spot me that is then they act like they are being productive.

   I just give them a small smile and nod.

  It is strange I haven't heard from my father.  I know he is a piece of shit, but he should at least notice my disappearance.

  Speaking of parents, I spot Evelyn's parents signing some release forms for her and Karin.

 
  Immediately they spot me and gesture me over to where they are. Smile, Fiona.

  I plaster on a smile as I greet the Winter. No one can reach Axial's family because we didn't know anything about Axial or she has any other family out there.

     The Winters decide to look after Axial until she makes a full recovery meaning they asked me if I would be willing to stay with Axial as they finish some paper work and other things.

   I am worried about Axial and would love to check up on her, so to me it is a no brained when I agree to what they ask of me.
  
   The doctor finally moved Axial a floor down, away from the ICU. They still want to monitor her and make sure she has a full recovery.

  I open up the hospital door and I couldn't help as my breathe catches and it was like I got all the air sucker punched out of me.

   Axial lays in the hospital bed sickly pale. Her usual raven hair that was kept nice was a frizzed mess and she has dark circles underneath her eyes.

   I inhale than exhale. I decide for my own sanity to take a sit near her and occupy my self the only way I knew how— my cellphone.

  I was so engrossed in my cellphone I didn't hear the door open revealing Evelyn.
