Chapter 73- The Throuple

   "I don't know Fiona involving the cops sounds like a bad idea." Axial tells me from beside Dani's hospital bed.

   "You know what is an even worse idea? Potentially being hurt or worse. For god sake how many people have got hurt or killed because of all this shit?" I rant as she blinks her blue eyes at me trying get me to calm down.

   "Now is not the time or place for you to become hysterical. Dani is in a coma for god knows how long." Axial scolds me making me feel guilty.

   I bit my lip so many unwanted questions linger in silence between Axial and I. Questions that neither of us want to speak out loud.

   Maybe it's better this way. Axial obviously has feelings for Dani and I already know how she feels about Axial. Right now is not the time to place to be trying sort of any sort of romantic feelings.

  "Did they say how long?" I gently ask placing my hand on Axial's arm to comfort her.

   "You really want to go to the cops?" Axial asks sighing frustratingly ignoring my question all together.

  "Yes." I tell her making her call the cops as they tell us to meet them down at the station.

   We drove in silence while my phone keeps blowing up from Sophia and Lyric.

  Sophia: Where are you?

  Lyric: Are you okay?

   I frown at both of their messages which doesn't go unnoticed by Axial.

  "Someone is popular." Axial comments glancing down at my phone.

  "Eyes on the road!" I yell causing her to give me a smirk.

   "What are you smirking at?" I ask placing my hand on my heart.

    "Just reminds me of old times." Axial states still smirking at me.

   "Officer we have criminal evidence against  a man named Matteo Vasquez." I say eyeing the female cop at the glass window.

  "Okay just give us a few minutes." The lady cop says directing us to have a seat.

    After two hours have passed Axial was starting to get angry.

  "They are playing us for fools! It's been over two hours so much for protecting and serving." Axial voices out loud making me throw an apologetic smile to lady officer.

   "Axial." I say her name pleading with her to just sit back down.

    The lady cop comes back with a scowl on her face she obviously overheard Axial's complaint. I just flash her a brief smile before another officer guides us inside.

    "Ladies I heard you have some incriminating evidence to show me?" A tall man with a scowl on his face ask. His brown eyes darting from me to Axial.

  He looks at Axial like he is familiar with her making her shrink her the seat she is in.

   I raise my eyebrow and give the officer a flash disk that my father managed to maintain.

   "What is on this?" He asks curious yet cautiously.

  "Your evidence." I simply state while he plugs it up to his lap top playing the video.

  "My god! This is a video of someone being shot." He says shocked by what he is seeing.

  He obviously hasn't been around violence as much as he wants us to think.

   "Not just someone—two very important people to me". Axial growls making the cop stare at her with a scowl.

   "We will have a search warrant in no time." The officer tells us guiding us quickly out the door.
