"Thanks again for the lift!" The nervous crimson haired goddess says to me before sprinting away from me into the hotel.

Lost for words I jump on my beloved motorcycle securing my helmet on my head.

It wasn't the greatest idea missing first day back at school, but in the things most important in my life right now it was in the bottom.

Sometimes I wish things could be simpler unfortunately that wasn't in the cards for me—at least anytime soon that is.

When Camila called me about Fiona being escorted by her father out of the hospital I wasted no time in helping her.

I know it's off helping someone that had a role to play in my sister's death, but I never really blamed Fiona.

When I look at her all I can see is an innocent little bunny with those damn emerald eyes. I didn't know if I still have a thing for her since I was thirteen or what. She was like a siren and I am enthralled by her.

No one knew about my true feelings except Evelyn and that's because she pieced it together.

Even if I were to open my heart completely to Fiona I know all I would do is break hers.

I really need start distancing myself before I become too attached, too involved.

I sigh, as I pass the Field's shelter where I been residing for quite sometime. Occasionally bouncing place to place mostly Oliver's.

Oliver and I met one night after I got into a bar fight with a drunken dude who wanted to get a little bit too handsy with me.

He thought I was a damsel need of rescuing when it turned out the drunken guy needed rescuing from me.

After that Oliver sort of became like an older brother to me in who offered me a way to make more money.

I know what everything is thinking drugs right? Well, you wouldn't be quite over base to assume that. I sell strictly weed nothing heavier than that.

Plus most of the people in my school smoke.

Of course that Pierce kid that killed my sister was my competition for buyers.

Shouldn't have no problem on that front now something told me he's going be locked up for the rest of his pathetic life like he deserves.

I arrive back at the bar greeting the security man who only grunts at me like always as his way of saying hello.

"Greyson, shouldn't you be at school?" Oliver's annoying ass voice rings louder than the music that's playing.

"Shouldn't you be worried about yourself?" I ask nodding to his bartender girlfriend who's currently glaring daggers in back of my skull.

Speaking of my head, Oliver slaps me on back of my head before ruffling my hair making it all frizzy.

He knows I hate it when people touched my hair.

"She's on her monthly it's best to avoid her when she is." Oliver states as I roll my eyes at his typical male behavior. Sometimes I wish guys could understand what is women go through.

"As much as it's nice catching up with you I am actually here for my next package." I say as Oliver looks at me actually surprised.

"Boss didn't tell you?" Oliver asks like I'm suppose to magically know what he mean by that.

"Tell me what?" I ask my teeth already gritting together as my jaw clenches from annoyance.

"He's letting you go." Oliver says it like I was a kid with an injury and that injury had a band aid on it and he just ripped it off.
