Lex: Just go up there and tell her how you feel. Dondré ain't home rn. I know it's not easy but u might not get another chance 🫤"

Niko read the text message across his Iphone screen before exiting out and slipping his phone in the cup holder of his car. He took a deep breath and rubbed his temples. He was parked in front of his brother's house, trying to figure out how he was going to get through to Ky tonight. He tried to sit back and pretend that none of this didn't phase him but it did, and he just couldn't pretend anymore. He couldn't let Ky marry his brother. Because he was still inlove with her. Not only that, his brother didn't deserve her.

He finally worked up the nerve to hop out of his Jaguar and make his way to the front door. It was 2am in the morning, and he had some liquor and weed in his system from drinking earlier—trying to cope with the pain.

"Niko?" Ky stood in front of him wearing a white robe. "What you doing here? It's the middle of the night." She had concerned all over her freckled face. She looked pass him and outside of the door, as if to expect someone to be with him. Her face grew even more worried as she then asked, "Is Dondré alright?" She opened the door wider to let Niko inside.

Niko tried to contain the anger he felt with her even mentioning his brother's name. He made his way into the kitchen area and sat at their island. "He good."

Ky walked over and stood in front of him, and folded her arms together, looking confused as to what was going on. "Then what happened?"

Niko put his elbows on the table, rubbing his face, looking overwhelmed. Ky just stood there waiting, not sure what else to do.

He looked up at her and then stood up, walking closely to her. "Ky..." he couldn't speak as he stood there admiring her beauty. The robe she wore perfectly accentuated her curvy frame, and her chocolate molasses skin looked pretty against its whiteness. She looked angelic...that's what she was...she was his angel.

All of a sudden, he just couldn't do it. "I came to talk to my brother" he lied, "is he here?" He just couldn't bring himself to do it. And he felt like a bitch for chickening out like this.

"No." She rolled her eyes, annoyed by Dondré's constant antics. "In fact, I don't know where he is."

He still back on that bullshit as always I see. Niko shook his head at his brother's fuckery. He couldn't understand how he could keep treating Ky like this. The fact that he kept fucking up and putting her through stress help to reduce the amount of anxiety he felt over the reason he came over here.

Ky noticed Niko's eyes traveling all around her figure as she ranted and raved about his brother putting her through bullshit again when their wedding was in a couple of more weeks.

She was uncomfortable with the way he was looking at her—it was the same way he kept looking at her at her engagement party. She immediately tightened up her white robe, frowning at him.

"Niko...maybe it's best if you go. You're not even listening to me and you're making me feel mad uncomfortable right now." She told him straight up.

"I'm not leaving Ky", he said firmly in a matter-of-fact way.

He walked closely to her as she was backing up away from him.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" She asked. "And why are you acting weird? Are you high?" She noticed that his eyelids were low, and look the same way that other people's eyes looked when under the influence of weed. She wanted to tell him to get out, but the look he was giving her and his energy, was making her moist.
