chapter 5: Disagreement pt1

We both close our eyes and slip off to our dream escape, where the real world can’t hurt us and we can be free to do whatever, like be with the people we have desired to be with for a long time.

Right before I am about to kiss my strawberry hair fantasy, my alarm goes off and crashes the mood. I see Lucas is still sleeping. I hang up the facetime and send a good morning text.

Good morning bestie, I hope your dreams are sweet as you are and I'll see you at school:)

I go to my closet and grab a red tank top and blue jean shorts with my black and white high tops and put my hair half up-half down.

I put on my silver hoop earrings and my sun bff necklace. I grab my phone and bag and head downstairs to see my family, before I leave for school. I see my little brother and mother sitting down eating breakfast.

“Good morning little monster” i say while giving my brother a kiss on the head

“Good morning mom” i say also giving her a kiss but on the cheek

“Morning honey” my mom says sweetly

“Did dad leave for work already?” i ask curiously

“Yes honey, he did, he said he had a big business meeting this morning” my mom says while taking a sip of her coffee

“Oh okay, well i’m off to school” i say with a smile

I close the door behind me and see that Tucker is outside with his blue chevy.

I cross my arms “Didn’t think you wanted to see me after bringing up the-” i say but was cut off

“All is good babe, lets me just drive you to school please” tucker begs

“Fine” i say getting into the passenger side
