chapter 5: disagreement pt 2

We drive to school together,we walk in together and we sit together. But as soon as that bell rings we separate and no kiss goodbye.

It's like he is in his own little world and I am nothing but a side character.

I head to english and him to shop. Just like that I feel the dark consume me again repeating that I’m pathetic and not good enough. I gasp for air and grasp for light, and just like a miracle Lucas is right in front of me.

“You good?” lucas asks worried

Yeah just a little anxiety moment” i say trying to catch my breath

“It’s going to be okay” lucas says while rubbing my back

“I hope so” i say with a smile

I sat at my lunch table once again and didn’t feel like eating. Tucker is busy on his phone and Lucas and Abigail are making out again.

It makes me sick but I try not to stare wishing I was Abigail at this moment. Tucker finally gets off his phone long enough to realize I'm not eating my food.

“Why aren't you eating babe?” Tucker asks with a worried face

“Just not hungry right now” i say

“You should try to eat something” lucas says while trying to push a piece of pizza towards my mouth

“Don’t force food into her mouth bro” lucas says slapping the pizza away

“Stay out of it bro,not your girl”tucker says shoving lucas

Oh no this isn’t good, please don’t fight now,especially over me.

“If she don’t want to eat she doesn’t have to” lucas says shoving tucker back

This goes on for 5 minutes before I have had enough. I push them both down and tell them both to grow up. With that I walk away.

Not more than five minutes later  Lucas comes running after me. I turn to face him and he starts to apologize. 

“I'm so sorry, i didn’t mean to upset you he just gets me mad i just can’t tak....

“you two need to get along because i’m not gonna deal with my boyfriend and my best friend hating each other” i say cutting him off

“I know,i'll try to get along with him but only for you” lucas says with a sigh

“Good” i say as i walk away

“Wait, did you want to go to my house again this weekend?” lucas asks

“Of course but what about the movie?” i say with a slight smile

“We can just watch one at my place” lucas says

“Okay” i say
