chapter 6: chances pt 1

The week is finally over once again. I grab my bag quickly and head out the front doors of the school.

Lucas is waiting in his car for me although he's not alone, he's talking to tucker. Well there's something you don’t see everyday. I walk up to both of them and smile.

“Hi boys” i say

“Hey babe”tucker said while putting his arm around me

“Hey” lucas says with a sour face

“So are you both getting along?” i ask

“Yeah we are, we both talked and decided to be friends” lucas said while crossing his arms

“Yea sure did” tucker agrees

“Great” I look at Lucas “ready to go?” i ask

“Yep been ready” lucas says while getting in the driver's seat

“Have fun” tucker says with a smile

We drove to Lucas's house and got out of the car. I feel really nervous this time because of the events that took place last time.

As soon as he unlocks the door I jump on the couch and lay there for a good five minutes before he suggests we should play video games.

We go to his room and he sets up the systems so that we can play fortnite together.

We played three rounds of duo’s and a round of one on one which he won because I'm still getting used to the game.

We played till eleven but got hungry so we heated up some burritos. We head back upstairs after eating and I lay on his bed while he turns on some netflix.

“What should we watch?” lucas asks

“Something scary” I say without thinking
