I woke up to a cute boy sleeping on my stomach, he looked so peaceful. I pulled out my phone to see if I got any messages. 2 messages, i click on the first one that popped up.
Hey, tucker went into a room with another girl just letting you know

Oh ok and he didn't drink

No problem
I look at the next message :

Did you sleep well?
Yes we didn't really fall asleep till 3 but yeah i did,hbu? How was the party? I dare not tell him how I'm sleeping . He can get jealous.
It was good,i had fun and i didn’t drink

No reply,I really messed up again,dammit, why can’t I ever get things right?
I put down my phone and saw that Lucas was awake checking his phone,but he’s still on my stomach.
“God dammit” he said getting up fast
“What happened?” i asked confused
“Abby, she texted me a bunch and they didn’t come through so now she's mad and thinks im cheating” he says all in one go
“That's not your fault,it’s the phones and she knows you’ll never do that, you love her too much” i say reassuringly
“I guess,but i tell her i'll never cheat but she always says that i will,it hurts a lot knowing she has no faith…..in ...me” he says starting to tear up
I walk over and put my arms around him in return he hugs back
“it’s gonna be okay,it's not your fault” i whisper
He cries a lot,staining my pink shirt with his sadness. I hate seeing him like this,so I did the only thing I could think of,make terrible dad jokes,thanks J.
“I’m afraid of the calendar?” i say
“Why?” lucas asks
“Because it’s days are numbered” i say
“Oh my gosh,*laughs*” lucas says giggling
“What do you call a fish wearing a bowtie?” i ask
“I don’t know,what do you call it?” lucas asks still giggling from the first one
“Sofishacated” i say smiling
Now Lucas is in a laughing frenzy and is holding stomach, I guess that means it worked.
“thanks , i really needed that” lucas says while wiping tears from his eyes
“I thought so, if i have to become J to make you smile i will” i say with my hands on my hips
“No no no i like the real you” lucas says while staring in my eyes
“Good,cause i'm not planning on going anywhere” i say with a smile while messing up his hair
“Hey,hands off the hair its already a mess thanks to sleep, i don’t need you messing it up more” he says swatting my hand away
“Deal with it” i say with a smile

We spent the next two and half days, laughing,playing video games such as fortnite and cod.
We watched movies and tik tok and talked about pretty much everything.
When Sunday came we both were a little sad but said we would do this again because it made us both feel better.
“Do you really have to go?” lucas asks
“Yeah it’s 5:45 and dad wants me home at 6” i say looking at my watch
“Aww, lame well i’ll see you at school and call me when you get in your room” lucas wines
“I will,can i have a hug goodbye?” i ask with my arms out
“Of course” he says while giving me a hug
It lasted very long, like he didn’t want to let go,but I don't understand why. I'm literally gonna call him as soon as I get upstairs and then I'll also see him at school tomorrow.
I let go, and he turned red probably because we were holding each other too long. I say bye and head inside. I take off my shoes,coat,and hat and enter the dining hall where everyone is gathered.
“Lily bear, is that you dear?” my mom asked
“Yes mom it’s me” i say grabbing the plate of rolls from her hands
“Good, can you help set the table please?” my mom says giving me a kiss on the forehead
“Sure thing mom” i say grabbing the plates and silverware

After dinner was done and I put my brother in bed, I headed to my room and pulled out my phone,calling lucas.

“What Ssssssss upppppppppppp” lucas says with his tongue sticking out
“What's good my dude?” i ask
“Nothing much just bored” lucas says with a frown
“Oof, sorry” i say with a small smile
“Naw.it’s all good” lucas says while propping his phone up
“Soooo,what are you doing tomorrow?” lucas asks with a smirk
“School,same as you,why?” i ask
“I wanna go see a movie, you down to go with?” lucas asks
“Definitely” i say excitedly “but,after school though”
tyler sighs “fine”
For the next 2 hours we talked about getting food after the movie and when our project was due for english.
Next thing I know we are talking about our relationships,friends,and giving each other encouraging words.
“Because of the incident, i don’t know if i can trust him not to drink” i say with a frown
“I understand that but somethings you go to let go of, it’s like i always say the past is in the past and the future is tomorrow so lets live now” lucas says with a smile
“True” i say biting my lip
“We should go to sleep, we got school tomorrow” lucas says
“Yeah,wanna fall asleep on video call?” i ask
“Hell yeah” lucas says with a smile
“Okay well i'm gonna get dressed and head into bed” i say getting up
“Okay but hurry” lucas says annoyingly
“I’ll take my precious time” i say with a smirk
I get up from my bed and head over to my dresser.
