Better Days

When I got up I went downstairs and Marco and Chaz were giving me sympathetic looks. I sat down next to Toby "why are they looking at me like Jessie was killed right in front of me" I asked "we just don't want you to be sad" Marco said "I'm ganna feel how I'm ganna feel yeah so ive had better days but dont look at me differently it's not ganna make anything any better" I said they just nodded "where's Jess" I asked "she came down looked around asked about Jazmyn when we told her she went back upstairs" Chaz said "Ok" I said jogging into Jessie's room and plopped down next to her "how sad are you" I asked laying on my back looking at her. "8 1/2 she was my only friend" she said. "Jessie get ready meet me downstairs in twenty minutes" I said going into my room put on a purple fitted shirt and black skinny jeans curling my hair putting on gloss and converse and was down before Jessie. "Jessie let's go!" I yelled up the stairs "I'll be back" I said to Marco and Tobs since I don't know where Chaz was. "Where ya going" Marco asked "to visit a friend" I said seeing Jessie come down in a purple shirt and black jeans "wow you two must have like sister instincs" Marco said when we got in the car Jessie put my radio on loud and we rolled down the window. When I pulled up to a house Jessie looked at me like I was crazy "why are we here" she asked "because Justin left for the summer doesn't mean Jazmyn did" I said she jumped out of the car and ran towards the door. When the door open a lady answered the door and Jessie went behind me "may I help you" she said "yes is Jazmyn here" I asked "yeah she is may I ask who you are" she asked raising an eyebrow "I'm Sam and this is Jessie we are friends of Jazmyn and Justin" I said smiling "oh well I'm Patty their mom, Jazymyn get down here!!" She yelled "yes mom" she said "Jessie Sammy" she yelled hugging me then Jessie "may we come in" I asked she nodded opening the door I sat on the couch and I told her everything how we we're all friends and how Justin left I didn't tell her anything that would scare her or make her think we're physo's. "Sam do you think together could watch Jazmyn until 6:30 tonight" she asked "yeah" I said "Ok thanks bye behave Jazmyn" she yelled before going out the door. We played games, watched movies, went to the mall and park. When pattie came home at 6:30 I brought the girls subway and we we're all watching tv. "Thanks Sam do you think you could continue coming everyday, I could pay you" she said she looked so tired "yeah and don't worry about the money" I said kissing Jazmyn's head "see you tomorrow". That's how I've been living the past 2 weeks get up go get ready watch Jazymyn and Jessie at patties come home take a nap and go to work at a restaurant yeah I work at a restaurant as a waiter then get home at 11 and sometimes I bring Jessie with me she sometimes answers the phone but all this extra work it distracts me and soon I'm going to buy a house on the lake. I'm ganna have like a restart the only one who now's about this is Toby and he's helping but he wants me to tell marco. "Marco you here" I asked jogging down the stairs "your still here" he asked "yup" I said "so what's up" he asked "I have to talk to you it's sorta important" I said sitting criss cross "what's up" he said getting serious "I'm planning on moving to a beach house" I said playing with my hands "your what" he said choking on the pop he was drinking "I just need to restart and be independent" I said "Ok but I don't want you by your self" he said "I won't I'll have Jessie" I said "I mean an older person if you can do that then you'll be good" he said "what about Tobs" I asked "sure if you can get him to agree" he said I smiled getting up and running into Toby's room jumping on Toby who was sleeping "Tobs Tobs Tobs wake up wake up" I said like I child jumping on him still "Sam if you don't stop I will throw you out the window" he said "Ok but I need you to answer my question" I said "Ok what" he said sitting up hold my shoulders "will you move into my new house when I get it with me and Jessie Marco said I can't live alone pleaseee" I asked "Sam let me think about it first then I will answer you tonight Ok" he said I nodded and went upstairs to get ready for the day the was ahead of me. Getting into the car me and Jessie were singing loud to the music we picked of Jazmyn you and went to the mall then the park. After being with Jazmyn, me and Jessie went to the restaurant answering phones taking order and delivering them. Jessie answers the phones until she was tired then she slept I the kitchen where there was an empty room I guess that's where we put our stuff but it's always empty so she sleeps in there until I get off. When my shift was over I said bye to some Co workers and carries Jessie to the car putting her in the back seat and driving home putting Jess upstairs in her room. I went into Toby's room sitting on his bed watching him play a game on his laptop "Sam I'll go with you Ok but just no pink house Ok" he said I hugged him tightly kissing his cheek "thanks your the best" I said going up to my room smiling and slowly sleeped consumed me.
