Slipping

I woke up to loud beeping going crazy at first I didn't realize what it ment but then everything fell into place that was her heart monitor. "HEY WE NEED HELP IN HERE" I screamed and an army of doctors and nurses came rushing in pushing me out and that was all I saw before I started making phone calls.
*2 hours later*
"Dude is she OK" it was Kyle sitting next to me. "I don't know no one will tell me anything" I mumbled putting my head in my hands.
*20 minutes later*
"Samantha" a nurse said we stood and he walked over "what happened" I growled. "Something mistakenly got added to her blood bag and cause her heart to race and-" but I was beyond pissed "so a nurse or doctor mistakenly added to her blood are you people trying to kill her" I screamed in his face. "Calm down" Kyle grabbed my shoulder "don't tell me to calm down they could have killed her" I growled. "She's now stable and currently still in a coma" he said and walked away I was about to lung at him but Kyle grabbed my arm "he can kick you out and you won't see Sam till she wakes if you attack him" he mumbled I growled knowing he was right I marched into her room and sat next to her. "Sam I love you I wish we got to spend more time together before this happened" I mumbled laying my head on her stomach petting her hair until I drifted to sleep.
*sometime later*
"Justin get up" it was Marco "what do you want" I mumbled "I broght you food" he stated passing me a bag of fast food. "Thanks" I took it from him and set it on the floor and layed my head down on the side of the bed. "You have to eat" he said sitting next to me "you can't put your life on hold because of this you have to just pick yourself up and do your normal routine yeah come and visit Sam on a regular basis but you can't do this to yourself" he mumbled running my back for comfort. "Marco you don't understand she is my life, ever since that day in chem. I'm ganna tell you something ever sense that day I wondered if I she would like the shirt I was wearing the hat my shoes my car I wondered if I would ever get a chance to hold her in my arms kiss her.... what I'm saying is I can't just up and leave because then I would be leaving pieces of myself here and I can't do that...I won't do that now will you leave so I can go back to sleep" I said he looked at me in shock then nodded leaving the room. "I love you Sam please wake up" I mumbled before falling asleep on her stomach.

I woke you up and Josh I think his name was from team 2 was in here staring at us. "Can I help you" I asked grumpy. "I.. ugh...she...we.....ugh...she's a nice girl she tried getting me a boyfriend with Toby and it worked I finally asked him out and he said yes and I wanted to thank her" he stuttered before talking loud and proud. "Oh OK can you stay here until I get back I'll only be ten minutes" I asked he nodded and I left the room and went to the showers. The doctor had told me if I wanted I could use the showers so I wouldn't have been separated from her as long I jumped in a shower then hurried getting myself cleaned before going back to Sam's room. "Thanks" I mumbled to Josh before he left. My hair was still dripping wet but I still crawled in the small hospital bed next to Sam. I stared at the ceiling just thinking if I had been doing my job the way I was taught then none of this would have happened why am I such an idiot. "I'm sorry I didn't protect you" I whispered in Sam's ear like it was our secret.
*next day*
I got up went to take a shower and brushed my teeth before coming back to Sam's room. I was feeling worse the before so I did the only thing I could think of.... told Sam. "Sam I'm sorry for what happened will you please wake up I need you we all need you; me,team 1, team 2, Marco, and especially the girls. I can't believe I took their girl from them. Your probably hungry hu?" I mumbled. "Well you know what if you can't eat real food then I won't either" I stated. "Alright this has gotten out control you can't stop eating" it was Marco "did you hear everything" I asked embarrassed I don't know why but I was. "I heard enough" he said grabbing my arm and pulling me down a hall and into another room while Marco stood outside talking to another doctor. "Alright can you roll up your sleeves" the doctor asked "why" I questioned. "I need to check you wrists and arms please" he asked reaching for my arms then it made sense he was checking if I had cut myself I stood up and faced the man who was only a bit taller then me. "I WOULD NEVER CUT MYSELF ESPECIALLY NOT IF I HAD TO GO BACK IN A ROOM WITH SAM" I screamed. "I'm sorry it's processor" he said I rolled my sleeves up and showed him "I would never do that I couldn't face Sam if I did" I growled my eyes getting watery. "OK sir" he mumbled he went on to ask me questions then went to talk to Marco when he came back in he sat in front of me."Justin you are slipping into depression you will be subscribed medication you will need to take two of these daily starting today" the doctor told me handing me a bottle of anti depressant. "Take two now then tomorrow take another two until we think you can stop taking them" the doc said. I did as told and then left back to Sam's room and crawled back into bed next to her. "Sam they got me on anti dependents because Marco over heard me talking to you" I said playing with her hair "but I'm going to stick to what I said" I whispered before falling asleep when a nurse came in drawing blood from Sam's unconscious body. "What are you doing" I asked "I should ask you the same" she said giving me a weird look. "I'm sleeping with my girlfriend what are you doing" I asked she sighed "we have to run some tests" she said quickly walking out before I can ask anything else. I layed back down forgetting that weird nurse and going back to sleep.

"Excuse me sir" it was that weird nurse that was waking me up. "What do you want" I mumbled sitting up getting away from my poor Sam. "I thought you would like to hear the test results" she said sweetly "alright then get to it" I said. "Well after the results we now don't know when she will awaken" the nurse said. I balled my fist before remembering what Kyle said they can kick you out and you won't be able to see her again until she wakes up. "Get out now" I growled before sitting in my chair and just looking at Sam for some reason my body wouldn't let me go back to sleep so I layed my head down next to her just thinking.
