As one of the consequences for our behavior, I found myself sweeping the corridors with a mop as the early morning sun showered the school grounds in a warm glow. Gray was standing next to me, sharing responsibility for the decisions we had taken.

I can't believe we let ourselves get tangled in all of this.

Right after the whole building, we proceeded to the security office area.

Nakakapagod pero bawal mag reklamo dahil napa trouble kami eh.

"Get this."

As I continued cleaning, I couldn't help but feel curious towards the strange vial on a trash bin.

"Gray! You need to see this!" Tawag ko kay Gray.

Gray rushed over, his eyes widening as he examined the vial.

"It's the same poison used on the students, Joana and Clarina. Where did you found this?" Tanong niya.

I gulped.

"Someone must have hidden it there. It could be Kuya Vin..."

The realization hit me like a bolt of lightning. Someone was trying to manipulate the truth. We need to take an action.

After cleaning we decided to go to Clark's house to report everything.

"Is this fucking true!?"

"Wow, maypa 'fucking'!" Biro ko sa kanya.

"Shhh, natutunan ko lang sa socmed. So ano nga meron dito?" He asked.

"Kahinahinala talaga 'yung lalaking iyon!"

"Everything we had gathered is connected. The poem, that poison, and the missing incident," Gray said.

Napapunas ng lumalagatak na pawis si Clark. "Teka lang, pinagpapawisan ako sa mga rebelasyon. Kailangan ba ulit natin ang tula?"

"Nope, the only message behind the poem is that there is someone behind all of these happinengs. It could be a mastermind hiding behind the wall of authority.

Realization hit me, the closer we got to the truth, the more dangerous the situation becomes.

As expected, Gray drove me home.

While on our way, I couldn't shake off the thought about last night. It had been eventful, and my mind was still abuzz with thoughts of what I saw at the party and our ongoing investigation.
