JACK
My phone buzzes loudly once again, and I do my now practically robotic morning routine. Luckily, I manage to do everything ten minutes before I have to head out, so upon leaving early, I stop by a convenience store and get a pre-packed sandwich for lunch, so that way I don't have to go through a fuss of packing my own, or having to go to the cooked lunch queue with all of the loudmouths and the 'chavs' as we call them in the UK (and that is one thing that I will definitely not miss)
As usual, once I reach school I greet Mr Eko, sit and read a book for thirty minutes before heading to lessons and eagerly look forward to lunch once I'm actually in lessons. As much as I am enjoying being in a Japanese school, the curriculum isn't exactly different, so I have to deal with the same stuff that I learnt in England (including the infamous, mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell) which can be extremely irritating.
After the bell for lunch rings, I eagerly dash to the hall, and notice Danny sitting at our usual table, but not Tsuki. Tsuki has been joining us over the past few weeks, and it's been fantastic overall, and we have gotten on as good friends. She's usually the first one to arrive, however that doesn't seem to be the case today.
I sit down at the table quickly before asking Dan "What's up with Tsuki?"
"I have no clue, man." he says tiredly.
"She's been gone for a good few minutes now." he adds.
"Shall we look for her?" I quickly say, putting my food back in my bag, as I somewhat don't feel hungry at all.
He looks at me for a moment, before putting his food back in his bag and getting up from his chair.
"Let's go."
The two of us exit the lunch hall, and we decide to go into the English department classrooms and call her, this way we won't be able to get caught (seeing as the classrooms are always empty, and there are no locks) and she might just be near there anyway, so we head there hoping to find her. Once the two of us make our way there, we don't see her anywhere despite us checking numerous classrooms, so Danny tries to call her.
After numerous rings, he hangs up and sighs.
"She clearly isn't answering her phone." he says confidently.
"We need to look somewhere else." I say.
"She was in my English class, so she is in." I add.
The two of us spend the first half of lunch looking for her, and to our surprise, we can't see her anywhere. Despite the fact that we check numerous different classrooms, departments and ask a load of teachers, even they can't see her. We decide to go back to the lunch hall, because she might be there waiting for us now.
We re-enter the hall and she still isn't there. We also notice that Suji isn't there either, which is also suspicious, seeing as he usually berates us about being from a different country, even though Tsuki's never noticed.
Over the majority of lunch, we sweep the school frantically in order to try and find her. Despite the fact that numerous teachers and other students try to stop us, we don't really care, because at this point, we almost feel obliged to look for her. By this point, lunch finishes in ten minutes, and just as we are about to give up, we pass a random student, who stops us and asks us what's going on.
I tell him that we are looking for Tsuki, and he gives us directions to a random classroom, before telling us that he thinks that she hangs out here, which sounds strange seeing as she usually is at the lunch table with us. I look through a glass pane in the door to the classroom to see her frantically kissing someone. Danny nudges me and says "What's going on?"
