JACK
"I swear to god, I can't live without Daft Punk." I hear Danny say sarcastically.
"That's true." I respond.
"I second that." Tanoshi adds, smiling.
Me and the gang are back in our usual spot; Koenji Park, and this time we are having a celebration to start our summer holidays. Everything is going extremely well; Danny and Tsuki both bought a crap load of food, Tanoshi ended up buying a set of really good speakers so we can play music, and Sora, Ichigo, Aisuru and Kirai ended up all buying clothes for us all to wear at the celebration.
Another member has since joined us; Kanashi. He's just turned eighteen and he became friends with Aisuru while they were both in Satsujin. He's pretty cool and he definitely isn't as shady as Suji or any of his gang members. It's good to see new people come and join us and we gladly welcomed him.
Speaking of Aisuru, he has since been living with Kirai and his parents and he has been having a fantastic time from what I can tell. He's laughing and smiling so much that I genuinely haven't seen anyone seem so happy ever.
Tanoshi and Sora have been getting on particularly well too and I can confirm that they both like each other. I've been told by either of them that they like each other and now me and the rest of the gang are waiting for the day that they confess their love for each other.
Me and Tsuki have been getting on extremely well and we have since become the mascot couple of our friend group. It's been great being with her and it feels like bliss whenever we share personal moments together. I've had my heart broken before, so it's amazing finding someone who feels the same way about me.
The celebration goes extremely quickly and before we know it, the sun has almost fully set. I help pack up everything and make sure to clean everything up and once everyone leaves, I pull Tsuki aside just to talk to her.
I signal for her to sit down next to me on a bench and she does, gripping onto my hands as she does.
"I love this place." I whisper.
"I can't believe how eventful these past three months have been."
"Neither can I." she says quietly, smiling.
"But, everything worked out in the end." she adds.
"And, I got an amazing boyfriend to end out this term." she says, chuckling.
"That's the best thing." I say, laughing with her.
We lay on the grass with each other for half an hour, looking at the stars and the moon which glistens in the night sky. As my body begins to stiffen, I get up and tell her "Come on, I'll walk you home."
She smiles at me before giving me a kiss on the cheek, and we walk to her place laughing, singing and talking.
Three months ago, I moved here thinking that nothing could go wrong. And even though things did go wrong for lots of us, we managed to resolve our problems, and for all of us life looks bright and exciting. And, I feel the same way.
In the end, everything went well, and I am very excited for my future here in Japan surrounded by my parents, friends and most importantly, my amazing girlfriend Tsuki.
