Prologue

At Chennai Airport

Siya's POV

It's 7am in the morning and I've landed in Chennai an hour ago. I have my orientation at 8.30 and I want to be there on time. Coming to Chennai and pursuing a degree in Aeronautical engineering from IIT Madras has been my biggest dream. Although my parents were being a bit paranoid about me moving to Chennai from Mumbai, they supported my decision wholeheartedly as they know how much this means to me. And as I'm their only child, it's obvious for them to be worried about me and my safety. We had visited IIT Madras last month and my parents themselves ensured all the arrangements. And now here I am!

As I was walking out of the airport I bumped into a large suitcase and as I was about to fall, I closed my eyes tightly but I could feel a pair of hands going around my waist and holding me tightly. As that person made me stand on my own feet properly, I opened my eyes and the sight was extremely pleasing to my eyes. A guy much more taller than me standing right infront of me stared into my dark brown eyes with his dark grey eyes which were enough for any girl to lose her heart. He was still holding my waist and my gaze made its way towards his hands. Gosh those veins! He immediately withdrew his hands and asked me, "Are you okay?" He was so handsome that I was drooling over him already. I just nodded. He helped me pickup my handbag and my admission letter which fell down. He picked it up and a smirk formed on his face. He handed me my stuff back. He leaned down and whispered in my ear, "Welcome," and he left.

I was still wandering why he said that and when I came back to my senses, I realised that I was getting late. Run Siya Run. You can't miss the orientation.

Siddhant's POV
I had reached Chennai almost 2 hours ago and I'm waiting for my bestfriend Aarav who has landed just now. He took a flight from Munbai as he had to attend his cousin's wedding there. I am from Delhi and this is my first time in Chennai. Idk how I'm going to manage here but atleast I have my bestfriend here with me. Aarav is my bestfriend since highschool. Initially, my parents weren't happy about me moving to Chennai but I managed to convince them. On the other hand, my brother Parth was on cloud nine as now he can have the entire room for himself. Good for him. I'm okay with sharing my room with Aarav.

I was waiting for Aarav near the airport gate and just then a girl bumped into my suitcase and as my reflexes are strong enough, I quickly held her by her waist. I made her stand and she opened her eyes. She was looking at me as if she saw a ghost. But I was captivated by her beauty. Her dark brown eyes, shoulder-length wavy hair, rosy lips and a small nose. I was mesmerized. I asked her if she was okay and she just nodded. I picked her stuff from the ground and my eyes fell on her admission letter. So she is a student at IIT Madras too. Interesting. I whispered, "welcome" in her ear while leaving and she stood there confused. I was about to turn back and look at her when I heard someone calling my name. I turned my gaze in that direction and there he was, my idiot bestfriend because of whom we were late for the orientation. As he came towards me, I turned around and my eyes searched for her but I couldn't find her. Maybe she left. I couldn't see her name but it's okay. We are in the same college and I'll get to see her again........
