Hello lovelies. Here's the update. The next update will be next week.
Even after giving the entire tutorial on how to vote, you people don't vote. I'm disappointed guys.
But your author is a bit nice, so I decided to update for those who vote on each chapter and constantly keep supporting.
I've received many birthday wishes on Wattpad as well as Instagram, thank you so much for your wishes. My day was spent well.
Now enjoy the chapter and vote 💕After a week
Siya's POV
Today is the first round of Dance Mania and I'm nervous as hell. I'm not being narcissistic but it's a fact that I'm a good dancer. I've bagged many awards for dance during my school life. But without taking stress, koi bhi kaam kiya nahi hai maine apni life mein. It's a ritual to freak out during exams and important competitions but everything goes well eventually.
Coincidentally, Swati's music competition finals are happening today. She was freaking out too but I, being a good best friend, gave her all the motivation I could. Duniya bhar ka motivation usey de diya but what about me? Thankfully, her finals are after our competition, so we can cheer each other during our performances.
Sid and I made our entries in the register and the organisers asked us to be seated in the rows that were assigned for the participants. In total, 15 pairs were participating and after this round, 6 would get into the finals.
Sid and I were the last ones to perform. I adorned a black lehenga and Sid too, wore a black kurta.
He looked like a whole meal. I couldn't help but gawk at him openly.
"Shut your mouth Siya, makkhi chali jayegi muh mein. Subha se, you've been checking me out," Sid said, avoiding my gaze.
"You look hot today. Traditionals really suit you," I said absent mindedly and then realised what I said when Sid looked at me grinning and flashing his dimples.
His dimples will be the cause of my death one day.
"Many people have told me that I look hot but now it's confirmed. You look nothing less though. Meri jitni nahi but you look hot too," he said, teasing me.
I squinted my eyes and said while flipping my hair dramatically, "Oh please, in comparison between us, I am the hotter one. Not to brag but since the moment I've walked in, all eyes are on me. Especially those boys."
He briefly looked around and saw a group of boys who were from the organising team. They've been staring at me for a long time now.
Sid shot deathly glares to all the boys who were looking at me. Those boys silently lowered their gazes and walked away.
"What was that?" I asked.
"They pissed me off," he replied with a straight face.
Swati, Aarav and Raghav came and wished us best luck before taking their seats in the auditorium.
I was busy biting my nails out of nervousness. Suddenly, I felt someone pulling my hand away from my mouth. It was none other than Sid.
"Stop biting your nails," he said in an authoritative tone.
"Sorry, I was just nervous," I said.
"Don't worry, we'll be fine," he assured me but unconsciously, I began biting my nails again.
This time he pulled my hand and held it in a firm hold.
Goosebumps erupt on my skin and the swarm of butterflies flutters in my stomach.
