Siya's POV

After the breakdown on the terrace, Sid and I headed to the cafe. Swati, Raghav and Aarav were already waiting for us there.

As we were about to enter the cafe, I stopped and looked at Sid.

"It's okay. Everything is going to be alright, trust me," he said.

I trust him. More than I trust myself right now.

As we walked inside, Swati saw us and she grinned at me. I sat on the chair next to her while Sid sat down beside me. Swati must've noticed my puffy, red eyes and she asked, "Were you crying, Siya? What's wrong

"Is everything okay, Siya?" Raghav enquired.

"Why did she cry? Sid, what happened?" Aarav asked Sid when I didn't answer.

I looked at Sid and he gave my hand a light squeeze and encouraged me to speak.

I took a deep breath and began to speak.

"Guys, Kabir is blackmailing me. He wants an apology in front of the entire college for slapping him at the farewell party. Also, he wants Aarav to step down from the position of the football team's captain. He...shot a video of me in Nainital while I was changing my clothes and he is threatening me to post it on the internet. He said I can't tell anyone about this or he won't hesitate posting that video on social media," I explained, my voice starts breaking.

There is pin drop silence for a few seconds and then Raghav got up with a thud.

"That fucker, he's so dead," He said as he started walking out of the cafe but Sid held him back.

"Sid, why are you holding him back. Raghav let's go. Let's beat the shit out of him so that he never messes up with any other girl," Swati said and started pulling Raghav out of Sid's hold.

Aarav pulled her by her waist and said, "Stop it guys, kalesh karne se kuch nahi hoga. We can't just be impulsive right now. Think rationally. He has that video and he has strictly warned Siya to not tell anyone. What if he does something bad?"

Raghav and Swati finally calmed down and took their seats.

Aarav got up and started walking out.

"Where are you going?" Sid asked.

"To meet the coach. He wants me to step down from the position of the captain, right? I'll do that," he said but I stopped him.

"Aarav you can't do this. You've worked hard for it, you can't just give up on it because of me," I tried to make him understand.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and said, "Siya, you're a good friend to me. This is the least I can do for you. That position doesn't matter to me but you do."

His humble words make my eyes tear up, once again.

Swati gets up and hugs me before I break into sobs.

"Shh Siya, don't cry. We are together in this. But you should've told us earlier. Why did you keep this from us?" She asked.

"I'm sorry. I just didn't know how to tell you. I thought you guys would think I'm being selfish by asking Aarav to step down from his position which I didn't want him to do at all and then you all would eventually start hating me," I spoke.
