Author's POV

It's been a few weeks since Swati and Aarav did that little stunt. Everyone is busy preparing for the final exams as just a month is left for the exams. But even under the pressure of the exams, the seniors are extremely excited as today they have their farewell party. The third year students have arranged the farewell party and they have also invited the first and second year students.

At the Girl's Hostel

"Siya, keep your phone aside and get ready", Swati screamed while applying her eyeliner.

Siya who was busy on her phone looked up and said, "Just a minute Swati. I've been calling Kabir since afternoon but he isn't receiving my calls. Yesterday, I told him about today's party but before I could give the details, he said he has some important work related to his football selections and denied to come with us. Now let me atleast inform him."

Swati rolled her eyes and continued her job. Siya on the other hand was worried about Kabir. Since past one month, he's been acting weird. He ignores her calls and texts. Since past few days, they haven't even spent time together. His behaviour was concerning for Siya. She even asked him what was wrong but he always ignored her questions by saying it's just academic stress.

Finally when her 22nd call went unanswered, she decided to drop a text. She quickly sent him a text and got ready. She wore a black jeans and black crop top with sparkling rhinestones. Her outfit was stunning yet modest.

Swati wore a similar tank top in pink colour and paired it with pant in a darker shade of pink.

They got ready quickly and began to walk towards the gate. Raghav informed them that he'll meet them near the gate along with Siddhant and Aarav.

As decided, the boys were already waiting for the girls near the gate. As soon as Siddhant saw Siya, his heart started beating loudly against his ribcage. Her face was adorned with the prettiest smile in the world.

On the other hand, when Aarav saw Swati, he thought, "Pink never looked so pretty to my eyes."

The bestfriends came out of their thoughts when Raghav snapped his fingers infront of their eyes.

"Chalein kya?", Raghav asked to which everyone nodded.

They started walking towards the venue but suddenly Siya's phone started ringing. It was Swati's mom. She quickly picked up the phone and greeted her. That's when Swati realised that she had forgotten her phone in the hostel room.

"Hello Siya beta, can you please ask Swati to call me back ASAP. We need some important documents and she isn't picking up her phone", Swati's mom said very humbly.

"Sure aunty, I'll tell her to call you back."

Siya quickly cut the call and told Swati about this. "You go back, we'll wait here", Siya said and everyone nodded.

"I think this will take time. You guys go, I'll come directly", Swati said. Aarav and Siya were about to protest but Raghav quickly said, "I'll come with you. Waise bhi mujhe parties attend karna pasand nahi hai."

With this, Raghav and Swati went back to the hostel while Siya, Siddhant and Aarav kept walking towards the venue. Mostly, Aarav and Siya were talking about the most random things to exist and Sid was just busy in adoring her cute self.

After 15 minutes of walking they finally reached the venue. It was 8pm already and as it was a party arranged for all the students in the college, the hostel had granted the students the permission to stay out until 11pm.

Aarav, Sid and Siya chit-chatted with few of their friends and seniors and then quietly took a seat in one of the cozy corners of the hall.

"I guess Swati's parents have some kind of emergency. Otherwise she wouldn't take so long to come", Siya said and took a sip of her juice.
