33. The Plan

The next day arrived sooner than expected. It was the day on which Siya was supposed to execute her plan along with her friends. It was a very important day as Siya's dignity was at stake.

It was the last day of Kabir's warning period. The clock was ticking, hours were passing and with the passing time, Siya grew more afraid. Sid, Aarav, Raghav and Swati were nervous too. It was their last chance to get a proof against Kabir and get Siya out of this very bad situation. If they did not succeed today, Siya would have to pay a very heavy price even when she hadn't done anything wrong.

As per the plan, all of them gathered at their fixed spot, that is, near the tree in the campus.

Even though Siya had her friends to back her up and she trusted them with this plan, she was still nervous. She was afraid that she might mess up something on her end. But still, she was determined to do this for herself. She had decided to put her trust in her friends and in herself too.

Swati had noticed Siya's discomfort and wrapped her arms around her shoulders. Ever since she learned about the whole Kabir fiasco, she has stood like a wall with Siya. She has been constantly checking up on her and Siya was grateful to have Swati by her side.

Sid was tensed too but he didn't let it show on his face. Aarav and Raghav too, were worried if everything would go as planned or not. If it didn't, it would land Siya in a very bad spot. They had to do this for Siya.

Sid checked the time on his wrist watch, cleared his throat and said, "Guys, it's time. We should start executing our plan. Siya, are you ready?"

Siya took a deep breath and replied, "Yes...let's do this."

Sid moved forwards and side hugged her. He said, "You've got this. And do not worry at all. We have your back. Stay strong."

Siya looked at him and smiled, blinking her eyes in assurance.

"C'mon then, call Kabir and ask him to meet you in the store room near the auditorium," Aarav said as he wrapped his arms around Swati's shoulders. She shrugged his hand away and said, "Don't touch me. Raghav, let's go. We will do our part of the plan. We will put a small light bulb in that room so that Kabir's face can be seen clearly in the video."

"Yeah, inform us once you call Kabir there," Raghav said and went away with Swati.

"Why is she pissed off with you, Aarav? What did you do?" Siya asked.

"I don't know," Aarav said, being equally confused.

"Tum ladko ka yehi problem hai. Tumhe pata hi nahi hota ki tumne kya galti ki hai," Siya said.

(This is the problem with you boys. You don't even know what mistake you have made.)

"Anyways, let's focus on the plan. Siya, call Kabir," Sid said.

Siya dialled Kabir's number and waited for him to pick up the call.

In three rings, he picked up the call.

"Hello babygirl. You missed me, right? I kinda missed you too. Tell me, why this sudden phone call? Oh wait, is it to invite me to the apology ceremony, babygirl? It's good that you agreed. Anyways, you didn't have any other option left," Kabir said in an evil voice.

Sid's fist tightened in anger.

"Kabir, actually I want to meet you. Come to the store room near the auditorium," Siya said in one go.
