Author's POV
It was the last week of May and almost all the students were back to the campus for the extracurricular activities that were going to take place in the campus. A lot of intra-collegiate events as well as inter-collegiate events were organised. The campus felt more than alive with the spirit of competitiveness.
Sid and Aarav returned 2 days ago while Siya, Swati and Raghav came back yesterday.
During the span of the vacations, Siya and Swati visited each other's house and met their families. Raghav too joined them 2 days before coming back to Chennai. He was going to stay at a hotel but Siya insisted him to stay at her place. He was hesitant at first but couldn't say no when Siya showed her cutest puppy eyes.
He stayed there for 2 days. Siya and Swati showed him the famous places in Mumbai. He bonded quite well with their families, a little more with Swati's younger sister though. But that's another story to tell.
Right now they were sitting in the college canteen along with Aarav.
"Where's Siddhant?" Asked Raghav which grabbed Siya's attention.
"In the library. That man can never stop studying," Aarav replied while munching on his masala dosa.
"Why can't you eat properly? Such a messy eater you are!" Swati exclaimed giving a disgusted look to Aarav.
"Because darling, I'm hungry. And I don't care if you don't like it," he said taking another bite of the dosa.
"Don't call me darling. Waise, why did you send me a follow request on Instagram?" Swati asked and Aarav thought for a second before replying.
"Woh actually, mere feed pe aaj kal bahut acchi acchi cheeze aa rahi thi aur wo mujhse hazam nahi hua toh maine socha tumhe follow kar lu. You manage to annoy me without even trying." Aarav replied which made Swati gasp while Siya and Raghav burst out laughing.
"That was a good one man," Raghav said and Swati glared at him.
"And if you had a problem with it, why did you accept my request and follow me back?" Aarav asked to which Swati muttered, "Maine kab bola mujhe problem hai."
She muttered it to herself but Siya heard it and started coughing hard. She passed Swati a teasing look to which Swati gave a 'shut up' look.
"Arey Siya, are you participating in any of the competitions?" Aarav asked and she nodded in a no.
"Then why did you come early? You could've stayed with your parents for some more time. you might've felt better." Aarav said.
"Actually, I came early so that I could cover up what I missed in the college before the semester begins." She said and turned to Swati.
"Swati, give your notes. I'll start studying asap." Siya said and Swati handed her some of her notebooks and files that she was carrying in her handbag for Siya.
Siya went through the books and her eyes widened looking at Swati's handwriting.
"Swati, 10 saal ke baccho ki handwriting bhi isse behtar hoti hai. This is not even readable," she said and Swati gave her sheepish smile which Aarav found cute and kept looking at her adoringly.
"Raghav, give me your notes." Siya said and got a sheepish smile from him too.
"Tune notes hi nahi banaye na?" She asked to which she nodded.
"Toh tune padha kaise?" She asked and Raghav replied saying, "Sid ke notes se. His notes are really good."
She shook her head and turned towards Aarav who was busy staring at Swati while Swati was busy texting someone. Siya snapped her fingers infront of Aarav's eyes breaking his trance.
