I LAND ON MY BACK WITH A GRUNT IN PAIN. I have been training for hours now, my whole body aches in pain.
"Get up."Zoya orders and I groan.
"Can we at least catch a few minute break? My body hurts."I whine getting up from the ground before holding my back in pain. "I'm pretty sure I got a bruise."I murmur.
"It is important for you to learn self defense in case there was some sort of matter to happen, than you need to learn how to fight back."Zoya explains and I scoff.
"I have my powers for a reason, I could just blast them."I raise my eyebrows and she rolls her eyes.
"It's not always about powers, Irina. You can't always count on your powers."She states and I glance down. True. I thought.
Zoya than gets back into a fighting position. I fist my hand getting into my stance.
"Again."Zoya says. I went for the first punch but she dodges me. I turn around and went to hit her again but messed up.
I fall on my back hitting my head and before I know it my vision covers with darkness.

I hear harsh hushed whispers and I let went to open my eyes but immediately shut them, blinded buy the light. I let out a groan and squeeze my shut eyes at this awful headache I feel. Once I made a notice the whispers has stopped.
"Can someone turn of the lights?"I croak out rather harshly carefully sitting up covering my eyes with my left hand.
"I'm afraid the lights are already off miss Marshall."A voice spoke. Why does that sound so familiar?
I remove my left hand and slowly peak my eyes open but immediately shut them again by the blinding light.
"Liar."I groan out.
"Miss Marshall I assure you the lights are off, your the one creating the light."The same voice spoke.
I am? I thought.
I slowly squint my eyes open adjusting myself to the light. I look around the room spotting The general, Genya and Alina all surrounding my bed. I frown and let my eyes wonder to the lights to see that they are in fact off. I than turn to the general with wide eyes.
"I'm doing that?"I ask bewildered. He slowly nods. I than move my eyes away and look at the dancing lights with a mix of the color purple, blue and gold. I watch in awe.
"Irina."I hear Alina speak and I turn my head away and towards her. I tilt my head as she stares at me surprised. "Your veins."she points out.
I look down at myself and lift both my hands in front of me as I stare at my glowing golden veins in surprise.
"Saints."I breath out. All of a sudden a rush of energy travels inside me catching me off guard I let out a gasp at the energy, the glowing lights around the room vanishing making the room dark ones again. After a moment Genya that's sits next to me. I turn to her.
"How are you feeling?"she asks. "You took a pretty hard hit."she tells me and I glance down.
"Thanks to Zoya."Alina grumbles sitting on my bed.
"I'm feeling fine—I guess,"I shrug. "My head hurts like hell, it feels like my head has been blasted off."I huff.
"Well, you did get blasted like 5 feet through the air."The general replies and I turn to him surprised not noticing the guilty look on his face.
"I did?"I exclaim in disbelief. "I thought I Landed on my back?"i widen my eyes.
"Apparently not."he replied softly. It's silent for a moment and I clear my throat feeling awkward.
"So, how was your guys's day going?"I blurt out earring amused looks. I purse my lip silently cussing myself out.
