I LET OUT AN EXASPERATED SIGH AS I LOOK AROUND IN WONDER. I bite my lip trying to find that familiar red-headed but knowing me, I won't be able to find her especially in a room full of people.
Deciding to exit the ball room I turn towards the entrance of where I enter before making my way out. To my luck I found genya exiting the same way just before I was.
About to follow her I accidentally bump into a woman, I gasp and turn towards the woman.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."I quickly apologize to the old woman. She waves it off.
"Don't apologize dear it was my fault anyway."She tells me with a kind smile. I hesitantly nod my head before pointing behind me.
"I should probably go."I mutter turning to leave. "Sorry again."I tell her before leaving without another word.
I quickly exit the ballroom and catch up to Genya who looks as if she's in a hurry. Watching her suspiciously I watch as she stands in front of a door. I stop walking unsure if I should just walk up to her. She turns her head and I quickly hide behind a wall, waiting for a second before peaking my head out.
She knocks on the door and waits a few moments before it opens and she walks and pushes the door expecting it to shut fully but it doesn't, leaving a small crack. I frown before pushing myself off the wall and towards the door curiously.
Quickly stopping in front of the door i peak inside and spot Genya and The general talking rather harshly. Widening my eyes I listen in on their conversation.
"So you expect to keep it a secret from her whole life?"Genya asks harshly while the General stands there rather calmly. Who are they talking about?
"It would be for the best, Genya. She is still too young to know the truth of who she really is."He replied and Genya looks at him in disbelief.
"Does it really matter at how old she is to know the truth?"Genya spat. Glancing away from the two in deep though. Who are they talking about. "She is still your daughter, general."Genya finishes. I widen my eyes in surprise. The general has a daughter?
