A KNOCK IS SOUNDED ON THE DOOR CATCHING ALERTING US. The door opens and I'm walks David in his purple kefta. I smirk and glance at Genya who quickly turns to her kit pretending to be going though stuff trying to look oblivious. She than turns her gaze towards David.
"Hi."She greets before introducing David to Alina. "Uh, this is David Kostyk. Expert resident Frabrikator."She tells Alina, Alina gets up front her chair. "He created the blue light we use for crossing the fold."David fixes his kefta nodding his head before walking further in the room.
"Yeah, the general had me make these for your demonstration this evening."He hands me gloves and I frown glancing at Alina and Genya before giving David a small smile and placing it down.
"They're lovely."Genya tells him. He nods. I stare at the gloves in curiosity picking them back up again.
"What do they do?"Alina questions.
David seems hesitant for a moment. I raise an eyebrow. "They'll make it easier to split one beam into two."He quickly says, i glance at Alina not sure if that's the only reason but shuck it away. I smile and glance at Genya, putting on the gloves.
"Yours and Alina's show of power will determine who remains our alley."Says David as I put my hands together shutting my eyes calling out to my powers, Before pulling my hands away a golden ball of light forming. I move that ball of light my covered gloved hand, watching as they split into two balls of glowing golden lights.
The three watch in awe and a smile forms on my face as I feel this welcoming energy travel all through the parts of my body, I move my hand is circle motions moving the golden ball apart before putting them in one, closing my fist feeling that energy slowly disappear. I glance up at the three before taking off the gloves.
"They'll help you enhance your performance."David says.
"I don't think I'll be needing them though, I've been trained enough to control my powers, thank you though."I tell David although an unsure look plastered across his face. I ignore his looks and Alina lets out a faint chuckle.
"Ingenious."Genya says to David. I look at the two love birds before sharing a knowing look with Alina. David nods before turning to me. I take it that he wants to see me being able to do it without the gloves. I glance at Alina again and she gives me a reassurance glance.
I lick my lips and close my hands together before pulling them apart, the glowing golden ball forming, I move the ball to my right hand before adding a second one. I move them apart from each other, feeling that same welcoming energy once again, before putting the ball back into one, closing my fist to make them disappear. I give them a tight lip reaching my hand to the table to pick up the glove.
"I think I'll be alright in my own."I tell him softly handing them the gloves. He clears his throat nodding his head before taking the gloves of my hand.
"Of course."He murmurs before turning to walk out of the room. Alina turns to Genya as I watch David's retreating from.
"See you at the fete."Genya calls out. David stops and turns around giving Genya a small nod before looking around and shutting the door.
I slowly turn to Genya and fold my arms with a smile. Genya turns to Alina and I and a look falls on her face.
"What?"She asks.
"You never compliment anyone to their face."Alina spoke. "You like him."Genya shakes her head with a scoff.
"Not a word."She says before walking towards the kit. Me and Alina looks at each other before letting out a chuckle.
"Ingenious."Alina says in a mocking tease. I giggle and genya splashes some liquid on Alina open my mouth.
Alina gasps let's out a gasp before chaos started going on.
