I hear my door open and close and I turn my head away from my book spotting Genya once again who has a hopeful look on her face.
"Hi."I smile at her closing my book and placing my book down in front of me before sitting up from my bed.
She doesn't say anything but grabs my arm and pulls me out of bed. "Hurry we wont have much time."
I frown at her but let her guide me out of my room anyway not even questioning it. Standing in the hallway Genya shuts my bedroom door before grabbing my hand again and pulling me down the hall.
She stops at the end of the hallway and peaks her head out the corner to check if there was no guards. Surprisingly there wasn't and she takes off again dragging me with her.
"What is going o—"Genya shushes me holding a figure against her lips before. "Okay..."I murmur before pursing my lips.
After a few minutes we made it outside the little palace and is now standing outside the gate that is somehow open. I'm surprised me and Genya somehow made it without the guards noticing us. Still holding my hand she went to drag me out the gate with her but I quickly stop her.
"Wait, wait, what are you doing?! Are you trying to get us into trouble or something?!"I whisper shout and she sighs turning to me.
"There's a village just a about 30 minutes away from us. I wanna take you there."She tells me and I widen my eyes. She wants to take me to a village?!
"Your joking, please tell me your joking."I ask feeling excitement inside me. She shakes her head in no telling me she isn't joking and I let out a squeal making Genya quickly place her hand over my mouth to silence me as she stares at me with wide eyes.
"Sorry, sorry."I apologize to the talker girl unable to keep a straight face. Can you blame me though? It's been six years since I've been outside the little palace.
She shakes her head amused. "It's fine, just keep it down again you don't wanna get caught do you?"
My smile than fades at the thought of getting caught. I look at her afraid. "What if we do get caught? We'll get in big trouble, more especially you."I tell her. This is a bad idea.
"Which is why we only have a few hours before anyone notices that we're gone. Which is why I have my friend Fedyor taking cover for us."She explains and I widen my eyes.
"Fedyor? As in one of the guards?"i question and she nods. "How can you be so sure he'll cover for us?"i question. How do you know he won't tell the General?
"He is one of the most trusted friend of mine."She tells me and I look down for a moment. "Now, come on, Do you still wanna go yes or no?"
I look at her with a surprised look. "Saints! Genya, of course I wanna go!"I smile excitedly. She smirks.
"That's what I thought."She says before pulling me out the gate with a smile still on my face glad to have Genya as my friend.
