Our laughter was echoing down the hallway. Laughing about how we tricked the guards into saying that there was a explosive bomb just so we could go back in without having any trouble. It was obviously a terrible idea but it was something to laugh about. We were just about in front of my bedroom until we heard a voice giving us shivers down our spine.

"miss Safin, and miss Marshall."

Turning around we spot the one and only General Kirigan walking to us with Fredyor behind him looking rather guilty. Me and Genya looks at each other with wide eyes. My heart pounding against my chest. Stopping in front of us we both bow and the general. I put my hands in front of me and fiddle with my fingers anxiously avoiding eye contact.

"Where were you two?"The general asks calmly. I glance at him before glancing at Fredyor who's busy looking at his feet. I look at Genya who looks at the General knowing we have no other choice but to tell him.

"We were at the village, sir."Genya tells him. the general raises an eyebrow and glances at me.

"And why'd you bring Miss Marshall? You were ordered to never let Irina outside the gate of the little palace, am I right?"The general tells her. I clench my fist and look down.

"Yes, General."Genya murmured. I clench my jaw and looked at Fredyor who made eye contact with me looking at me apologetically. I look away. I don't blame him, It wasn't his fault.

"Now, would you tell me why you brought Miss Marshall to the village and why it would be such a good idea to do so."The general asks. I look at him and see his eyes hardening.

"I-"

"It was my idea."I spoke up cutting Genya off who snaps her head to me staring at me with wide eyes along with Fredyor who stares at me with wide eyes. "I forced Genya to take me to the village so I could get out of the little palace even if it was just for a few hours, so please general. Don't blame this on Genya or Fredyor, if anything you should blame me."I plead staring into his eyes.

The general lets out a sigh. "Very, well. For the next two days you aren't allowed to leave your room. The servants shall bring your breakfast, lunch and dinner but you shall not leave. There will be guards guarding your door to make sure you won't dare exit your room, do you understand, Miss Marshall?"He explains calmly. I look down at my feet and nod my head.

"Yes, General."I mutter and the general hums nodding his head.

"Have a goodnight Miss Marshall."He tells me before nodding at Genya before turning around to leave. We watch his figure as he walks down the hallway before turning around the corner disappearing from our sights.

Genya turns to me. "Irina, i am so so sorry, this is all my fault I should've never bring you to the village I-"

I cut her off. "it's fine, Genya. I don't regret going to the village. I'm glad I was able to Leave the little palace even if it's just for once."I give her a small smile before turning to Freydor. "And thank you Fredyor, for covering for us I really appreciate it."

I tell them before I give them one last glance before opening my bedroom door leaving no room for another word. I shut the door behind me and lean my back against it looking up at the ceiling. My eyes stings with tears and a few rolls down my face.

You're weak.

A voice echos through my mind.

Let me help you.

I close my eyes sucking in a breath before exhaling feeling anxiety spike in. I shake my head trying to calm myself.

You're weak.

A wave of energy travels to my hand making my hand glow an orange color before a ball of flame appears. I look down at my right hand.

"Shit."I mutter shaking my hand trying to make the fire go away only to make a fire shoot out of my finger tip and land onto my small round dining table chair.

"Oh, fuck."I say and quickly went over the the chair. Not how to put it out a look around a spot a small towel.

I pick it up before hitting it on the chair smacking the fire away. I let out a sigh of relief after taking out the fire that left a burnt mark. I groan and throw my head back.

I hate my life.
