Zuko swiftly prepared himself, bracing to finally face the Avatar.

Aeyenna couldn't believe it—after centuries of the Avatar's absence, he had chosen to appear during her lifetime.

Retreating to her headquarters, Aeyenna fed Sunny, her lion cub, a surprising gift from Ozai in recognition of her hard work.

Aeyenna's relationship with Ozai was complex. He showed a peculiar fondness for her, perhaps more than was appropriate. His compliments on her beauty and hints about a future with him instead of Ursa confused Aeyenna.

She was aware of Ozai's attractiveness. However, these actions happened when she was barley just twelve years old, much too young to comprehend such behavior. She yielded to Ozai's desires, partly due to her innocence at that age. This submission created a disturbing power dynamic where he manipulated her into doing his bidding, something he couldn't accomplish with Ursa.

Ursa once caught Ozai sexually engaging with Aeyenna, which was deeply troubling as it involved a child, not just due to his disloyalties to her.

Aeyenna's tears flowed not just from being caught but also because, oddly, she found solace in Ozai's attention. Aeyenna had always been a people pleaser, she struggled to recognize the wrongness of it all. Ozai manipulated her emotions, convincing her that his attention was genuine.

Realizing Ozai's control over Aeyenna, Ursa became increasingly worried. Ozai had trained Aeyenna as a Fire Nation assassin, and she excelled in this role. Despite Azula's bitterness, Aeyenna received special treatment from Ozai. However, only Ursa was aware of the hidden darkness in Ozai's interactions with Aeyenna.

Ursa and Ozai argued on the matter, but Ozai's power kept Ursa from intervening.

One day, Ursa shared her perspective on healthy relationships with Aeyenna.

Aeyenna arched an eyebrow. "Why are you with him then? Your relationship doesn't seem healthy."

Ursa sighed sadly, saddened for the little girl and for herself. "The Firelord is a powerful man, he uses manipulation to achieve his desires. He's very tempting, yet his ways are deeply manipulative."

Aeyenna absorbed the lesson, appreciating the discussion she had never had with her parents due to obvious circumstances. The difference between healthy and toxic relationships had been unclear to her, which was heightened by her tendency to be a people pleaser.

Ursa's guidance prompted Aeyenna to take a deep breath. "Okay. I'll end things with Father Lord Ozai."

"Father lord?" Ursa's interest was piqued.

"That's what he wants me to call him," Aeyenna explained.

Ursa gently held Aeyenna's face, planting a kiss on her forehead. "Oh, my dear. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Why didn't you tell me before?"

Aeyenna shrugged, her emotions tangled in a web of uncertainty. "Fire Lord Ozai wanted it to be our secret, something he said was special between us. He makes me feel... loved."

Tears welled up in Ursa's eyes. "My dear child, I'm at a loss for words."

Ursa's voice trembled as she gathered her thoughts. "Aeyenna, what you're experiencing isn't love. It might feel like it in some moments, but true love doesn't involve secrecy, manipulation, or taking advantage of someone's vulnerability. Love is about trust, respect, and caring for each other's well-being. Fire Lord Ozai's actions are a distortion of that, and it's important to recognize the difference. You deserve genuine love and care, not a twisted version of it."
