Y/n couldn't sleep at all throughout the whole night, bombarded by her emotions, regret, dread, and hunger pains. She hadn't eaten anything since before her final night at the TXT mansion, mostly losing hunger because of the nerves, but now her stomach churned painfully inside her dress, which now felt looser around her figure.
Her head felt light with deydration, seeming to loll around her neck helplessly. Tiredness was taking over her entire body, kept at bay because of the pain her body was constantly in.
Y/n lay on the cold concrete floor for what felt like an eternity, occasionally licking her lips to keep them from drying up completely like autumn leaves. She felt like at least trying to call out for Heeseung, or anyone else that might want to help her, but when she opened her mouth, no sound came out.
She lost her voice completely, forcing her to talk to herself in her own head.
Y/n was convinced that if she wasn't going to marry Heeseung the next day, it would be because she died tonight.
All she could think about was the members of TXT and Rina, whom she had grown so close to. She didn't even get the chance to say goodbye, or tell them all how grateful she is to them for making her feel at home, despite the fact that she was their hostage.
She didn't even get the chance to explain to Beomgyu just how much she liked him.
The pain in her heart was almost enough to numb out the pain in the rest of her body.
After an eternity, the door opened and light flooded Y/n's vision, temporarily giving her the impression that she was at the gates of heaven. She had never been a religious person, but the uncertain part of her was desperately searching for an explanation that resulted in the ending of her suffering.
Her eyes were half-closed, still desperate to sleep, but simply unable to do so. She tried to lift her head to see who it was, but almost all energy in her body was completely gone, and she could only manage to shift her head a little against the ground.
After hearing the footsteps grow closer, Y/n felt her body being lifted off of the ground, and a hand pulling her arm over their shoulder. This person was significantly taller than her, not giving her much of an option to try and get away, even if she had the energy.
It didn't feel that uncomfortable in this position, so Y/n decided to relax her neck again, and see what the world had destined for her that day.
However, what she didn't expect was the voice of whom she recognized as Sunghoon to whisper to her.
"Don't be scared. Help is on the way. Just hold on a little longer."

The room that Y/n was brought to was one she hadn't seen before, giving her a little hope when she saw it as a sign that they were still in Busan.
Her father was seated behind the large desk in the middle, his hands clasped together like a villain in a movie. Heeseung sat in one of the two chairs on the other side of the desk, his head turned to the door that Sunghoon and Y/n just entered from.
Heeseung's eyes grazed over the poor girl, seeing how tired she looked and feeling sympathy fill up his heart like water.
Sunghoon brought Y/n over to the second chair, beside where Heeseung was sitting. He helped her to sit properly, truthfully afraid she might pass out before she was stable enough to seat herself.
Jeongyoo gave him a nod of his head, which somehow perfectly explained that he wanted it to be just the three of them in the room.
Like the push of a button, the sound of Sunghoon closing the door behind himself set off a feeling of unease in Y/n. Now that he was gone, she felt strangely exposed, and scared of her father.
Although she was tired, that didn't stop her from keeping her eyes open, not giving her father the chance to move without her knowledge. Her watchful eyes completely diregarded the papers on the table and the man sitting beside her.
"Well you look like shit."
Jeongyoo chortled out, being the only one laughing. Heeseung avoided his gaze, and Y/n didn't even acknowledge his words, continuing to glare hatefully at him.
He coughed and spoke again.
"These are the marriage documents. You guys are gonna sign them."
Y/n could hear the words coming out of her father's mouth, but they seemed to be taking their time to reach her brain so that she could comprehend them. Her eyelids were threatening to force themselves shut at any moment, feeling like huge weights on her eyes.
Heeseung nodded his head wordlessly, taking out his phone to check something.
Jeongyoo handed a pen over to the younger boy, the latter sliding the small pile of papers over the table to in front of himself.
Jeongyoo eyed him sharply as the pen scratched over each sheet of paper, the ink drawn prettily into a signature for every page. The small sound of the pen being placed back on the desk sounded throughout the room, mostly audible because of the silence.
Y/n's father soon handed both the stack of papers and pen to her, uncaring of how exhausted she looked.
Her vision was blurred slightly, because of the fact she was trying to limit her blinks, afraid she'd drift off the moment she took one second too long to open her eyes. She grasped the pen weakly, truthfully not knowing where exactly to sign.
At this point, she felt so tired, she didn't care if she slept in a grave or a basement, she just wanted to sleep.
What was that thing Sunghoon said earlier?
Y/n stared blankly at the papers in front of her, her pen-wielding hand left in mid-air just above it. Her arm shook a little, nothing to support it as it stood helplessly.
Her father grew impatient quickly, not tolerating even more than five seconds of her absence of action.
"It's not fucking rocket science! Just sign the damn papers!"
Y/n flinched, some consciousness returning to her as she finally brought the pen down to the first document.
Just as the first letter of her name was written, the door burst open behind them.
"Hands up!"
