Sometimes Love Isn't Enough

Everything has Changed

**Time Skip 2 weeks Later**

Brendon's POV

We are now officially on tour. Skai has taken to tour life with no problems. She is now 3 weeks old. Man, where has the past 3 weeks gone? It's like she has always been here. Carlyn and I have our own room at the back of the bus, and we have Skai's basinette set up beside our bed. This gives Carlyn privacy when she's feeding or pumping for Skai as well. I love it when we are travelling overnight, and it's just SKai and I in the lounge area, and I am giving her her bottle. Carlyn decided she wanted to pump and store her milk so that I could feed Skai as well. She didn't want me to feel excluded. I love that she thought of me, and I must admit it is one of my favourite bonding times, plus it lets Carlyn get some rest. We are currently on our way to San Francisco. I am so excited to hit the stage tonight. First show of the Pray For The Wicked tour.

We arrive at the venue, and the guys head in for a sound check. Fall Out Boy have already done theirs, and Pete and Patrick are currently keeping me company on our bus. Patrick is currently entertaining Skai by making funny faces at her.
"Hey Trick, don't scare her. Oh wait, no, that's actually an improvement on your own face, " laughs Pete.
"PETE! Don't be so cruel to Patrick," I say.
'Thank you Carlyn" Patrick pouts "Fuck you Pete! Patrick smiles at Pete.
"Patrick! Language.......OMG I'm surrounded by children and Skai's the maturest." I giggle.
Suddenly, I feel 2 arms wrapping around my waist and Brendon gently kissing my neck. I breathe in his scent and smile. "Pete help, there's a strange man kissing my neck." I laugh.
"Oh, he's certainly strange, all right," jokes Pete
"Oh, very funny guys! Patrick, what are you doing to my daughter?" he says, taking Skai from him.

10 minutes till showtime. I call all the guys over for our pre show shot. I'm so pumped for the show. I take Skai from Carlyn and give her a quick kiss. "Hey angel, tonight's your first Panic! Show. You're going to watch from the dressing room with Mommy, Uncle Pete, Uncle Patrick, Uncle Joe, and Uncle Andy. You are such a lucky little girl to have so many people that love you.

"Showtime" shouts Craig, our tour manager. I give Carlyn a quick kiss, "Love you, babe."
"Love you too, Bren, have fun." I head towards the stage riser as the intro starts. I come through the stage floor singing (Fuck a) Silver Lining. Man its great to be back. A few songs in I see carlyn standing at the side of the stage holding a sleeping Skai. She looks so cute with her little ear defenders on.
"All right guys, it's great to be back on stage and to see all our Panic! family again. The crowd goes wild.
"I'm sorry it's a little later than planned due to my accident. I want to thank you all for your continued support during that time. It really meant a lot to myself, Carlyn and the guys. As a lot of you know Carlyn and I recently became parents. I'd like to introduce you all to the newest member of our Panic! Family. Carly, come up here babe. Everyone let me introduce you to my wife Carlyn and our beautiful daughter Skaila Rose Urie".
The crowd absolutely loves this.
I am back on stage with my friends, doing what I love with my gorgeous wife and beautiful daughter by my side, and nothing else matters.

**Carlyn's POV**

I can't believe Brendon brought us out onto the stage. Skai never batted an eyelid and slept through the whole thing. I take Skai back to the dressing room to give her a feed and get her ready for bed. I'm just finishing up when Elise comes in to pack up the wardrobe things. We've not really spoken much yet as everyone's been so busy.
"Hi Elise, how are you?"
"Hey Carlyn. Im good, thanks. Congratulations on becoming a mom. Skaila is beautiful."
"Thanks, I'm glad she's finally here. I was starting to think I would be pregnant forever." I laugh.
I hear the guys coming off stage and begin gathering up Skai and her things. Brendon comes running in to meet us."Hey Babe! That was awesome. Thanks for letting me bring you ...." he stops dead.
"Hey Babe, you ok?"
"Yeah, yeah I just didn't want to wake up, Skai. I'm gonna head for a quick shower.
"Hey, Brendon, great show."
"Umm, thanks Elise. Give me 10 mins babe and we will get back on the bus".

*Back on the Bus*

The guys are all in the lounge area and Brendon had Skai in his arms. "Hey, Bren, I'm heading for a quick shower, do you want me to put Skai down before I go?"
"No. Babe, it's fine, I'll come and put her to bed. Night, guys." I strip off and enter the shower, enjoying the warm water washing over me. I hear the door open. "Bren, what are you doing?"
"I thought you might like some company, Babe,"
"I know that look, Bren. We still have another 3 weeks before we can do anything. I need to get the all clear from the OBGYN at my 6 week check."
"I know, but that doesn't stop me wanting to shower with my beautiful wife," as he smashes his lips to mine. As his lips leave a trail of kisses along my neck to my collar bone gently sucking as he goes. I can feel his erection growing as I take him in my hand and start stroking him. "My God, Carly.... I want you so bad."
"Me too, Bren,  but we can still do this." He sucks on my collarbone and enters a finger inside me whilst massaging my clit with his thumb "Fuck Bren,.....' I quicken my pace on his shaft as he inserts another finger inside me, pushing in and out. "You are so wet, Babe..."

"I love you too, Bren. Come on, let's try and get some sleep before Skai wakes up for a feed."

I can't sleep, so I am watching Carlyn sleep. She looks so peaceful, and Skai is sleeping soundly on my chest. I can't believe how lucky I am. I was caught off guard earlier when I saw Elise talking with Carlyn. I never got round to telling her the truth about what happened the night of my accident. I had every intention of telling her everything about that night, but Skaila took that decision out of my hands. I can't believe that was 3 weeks ago. Surely Elise wouldn't tell Carlyn. She wouldn't be that stupid would she?.....
