XVII. Warm up!

It has been three weeks since we came back. As I sit here doing some paperwork, my brother Camillus and Princess Sierra stand before me, their eyes filled with hope and determination. They have come to me with a request, a plea even, for my assistance. You see, this year marks their final opportunity to participate in the highly anticipated magic school tournament, where students from different schools showcase their skills and compete for glory. And they want to win.

Now, I find myself torn between refusing their request or embracing the daunting responsibility of teaching them to hone their magical abilities. "Why not ask others, I'm not veteran."

"Because you have always been the one to bring glory to our school in the past tournaments." My brother answered.

"Okay, fine. When it will be held?" It is with trepidation, yet a spark of excitement, that I decided to accept their offer, this would be my first experience in guiding others.

"Next week," Sierra answered.

"Okay si- the hell? Next week at ngayon niyo lang sinabi?"

"Kahapon lang rin sila nag-announce," guess we can't do anything about that.

This could be a chance not only for my brother and the princess to grow, but also for me to expand my own knowledge and skills as a mentor. "But first, let me know and analyze your strengths and weaknesses, for knowing where you stood and would enable us to devise a strategic plan." Itiniklop ko ang kanina ko pang binabasang papel at itinuon ang buong atensyon sa dalawa kong kasama.

"You know what our ability is." Camillus uninterestedly said. Yeah I know their abilities because of my appraisal.

"Pero iba talaga kapag sa'yo nanggaling."

"I have affinity for elemental magic, my ability is to manipulate and control the forces of nature."

"And I have exceptional aptitude in the art of illusions and mind manipulation," Princess Sierra confidently said.

The next day, I decided to took their training at Heviarbez, the demon palace. I moved in here too because the Lord won't stop coming at our mansion kahit anong pagbabawal ko sa kanya.

"Let me introduce our participant at solo leveling, Raritan Sumatra." He looks really familiar. Habang nalulunod ako sa kakaisip kung saan ko siya nakita ay bigla siyang nagsalita.

"We've dueled last two and a half years ago."

"Ah! The dark elf at the assembly." I nodded my head as I finally recognized him. Actually I was the one who gave him a verdict, as the king's request. I decided to let him live freely as a student of magic school, because I know someday that he'll surpass me of handling a sword. It would be a waste of talent. "Nice to see you again."

"And this is Jean, Katrina, Anica, Naz, and Jf. They will compete for the group leveling."

"Nice to meet you, milady." They greet in unison.

"Nice to meet you too." I greeted back. "Any question? Before we proceed to our training."

Raritan raised his hand, I nodded so he could ask me right away. "What is your relationship with the demon lord?" Everyone nodded except for Sierra and Camillus.

"He is my husband," I plainly said.

"Whaaat!?" They shouted in chorus.

"Yes, and please ask a question that is relevant to your training."

"I have so much question to ask you about you, but for now please hone our skills milady." Naz said.

"Okay! Let's do some warm up first." I clapped my hand as some earth golems appeared at my back. "Let's see if you could defeat them."

"Shit! You call this a warm up!?" Camillus stepping backwards while silently cursing. He knows how terrifying my golem is, but the other are simply mesmerizing by Camillus who's showing up his emotion. You see, he's bit cold. "Everyone run and move if you don't want to die," he said.

Before he could run, my golem moved fast and reached him. He was slammed by its bare hand. Napangiwi ako nang makita ko kung paano siya kapusin ng hininga at magsuka ng dugo, he is still my brother afterall.

Everyone began to be alert, I doubled myself, I let my other one to take care of Raritan in a sword combat.

"Do your best everyone, I'll go get your drinks." I teleported myself at Jace's office where he is currently sleeping beside Von. May ipinalagay siyang bed dito sa office niya dahil nandito rin ang mga gawain niya na hindi maiwan-iwan. Minsan ay tinutulungan ko nalang siya tuwing mahimbing na natutulog ang anak namin para naman matapos siya kaagad.
